Municipal solid waste management is becoming more and more valued in all parts of the world, which is a means of adapting to the increasing amount of waste produced by the global population.China currently produces more rubbish than any other country in the world. Therefore, our country is confronted with unprecedented challenges to the disposal of rubbish.China's garbage management relies heavily on landfills and sanitary landfills.Due to the produce of high pollution of leachate and a large amount of greenhouse gases,it will lead to the degradation of environmental quality, and will occupy precious farmland.Because of pollution concerns and to the environmentally treatment of waste,in recent years, the composting process has been widely concerned in recent years.Composting has been used as a means of recovering soil organic matter, and composting products can improve soil structure and fertility. The composting process is considered to be one of the most appropriate options for the management and treatment of organic solid wastes from an environmental standpoint.Composting provides a recycling of nutrients, which is accompanied by the reuse of organic parts of wastes, thereby reducing environmental contamination.Composting contributes to the sustainable management of large quantities of organic wastes;Composting products also have many benefits, and the compost product obtained from organic wastes has recently been proven to have better quality than commercial inorganic fertilizers.Composting can substitute soil conditioner to support humus formation, which is a kind of benefit not artificially realized.Composting of humic acids can improve plant growth and health, and biological control of different soil carriers such as fungi. The horse's worm egg(known to have pathological effects on animals such as horses)is inactivated by composting. The temperature rise in the composting process eliminates the pathogenic organisms in the waste.Composting also contributes to improving soil water holding capacity. In this paper, the treatment process of municipal solid organic waste compost is studied, and the process parameters are optimized, such as: temperature,oxygen,pH,conductivity,C/N,moisture etc.The effects of different microbial agents on composting were studied, and the optimum strains were selected to improve the efficiency of compost and the quality of composting products. The content of camphor leaf in garden wastes is higher, because of the complex structure and properties of camphor leaf, the composting is hindered. In this paper, the leaves of camphor tree were pretreated,i.e.alkali treatment, mechanical crushing and high temperature treatment. Finally,it concludes that mechanical crushing camphor leaf is the most economical and effective pretreatment method.
