Resources Investigation And Assessment Of Wuhan's Common Ornamental Grasses And Its Application To Landscape Architecture

The most basic impression of human for the plan is tall tree,seasonal changes of leaf,and beautiful flowers.But when the fruit ripening and leaf fallen in the autumn,there is one kind of plant that we neglected begin to showing their unique charm,we call it ornamental grass,Include Gramineae,Cyperaceae,Juncaceae and etc..The utilization of ornamental grass increased the richness of ornamental plants and enhanced the visual experience of landscape.This paper investigates the main park and green space in Wuhan city,Hubei province.On the basis of literature study and field investigation,using grey correlation analysis method,establishes a comprehensive evaluation model for the used and potential utilization value of ornamental grass resources,according to the correlation value,concluded that there are 16 existing and15 potential value kinds of gramineous ornamental grasses in Wuhan city.And also use six characters,such as habitat,resistance,plant ornamental leaf color and flower arrangement,constructed the correlation degree system,summarized the highest correlation degree gramineous ornamental grass.First,a survey of 6 Park greenery,6 green space and 5 ancillary green space in Wuhan city has been made,and 16 kinds of gramineous ornamental grasses are found,we established the evaluation system by them,and using grey correlation analysis method obtained that the highest correlation values are Phragmites communis,Imperata cylindrical(Linn.)Beauv,Stipa lessingiana Trin.et Rupr.,Triarrhena sacchariflora(Maxim.)Nakai,Miscanthus floridulus(Labill.)Warb.,,and the correlation is 0.7482,0.6748,0.6470,0.6418,0.6231,0.6172 respectively.Therefore,we can see that the above 5 kinds of grass ornamental grass have higher comprehensive evaluation value.According to the data,15 kinds of gramineous ornamental grass been recommended in Wuhan ctiy,the highest incidence was the Pennisetum alopecuroides ‘Purple',Leymusarenarius ‘Blue Dune',Muhlenbergia capillaris,Panicum virgatum,Briza maxima L.,Festuca glauca.Their correlation degree was more than 0.6,and grey color correlation was 0.6624,0.6478,0.6464,0.6223,0.6174,0.6099 respectively.The application strategies of ornamental grasses in three types of green spaces in park green space,residential area green space and schools in Wuhan city.The application strategy of grass ornamental grass in the residential landscape-rhythm,color sense and low maintenance;The application strategy of gramineous ornamental grass in the park-diversification and refinement;The application strategy of grass ornamental grass in the school-individualized and thematic;Four major experiences for grass ornamental plants allocation in the landscape planning and design: First,the landscape is combined with the context of the site;Second,the plant landscaping tends to be refined in the place where the population is dense;Third,more green types,such as the affiliated green space of the school;And fourth more,more use in the stabilization of the community.
