First, this thesis evaluated the feed safety of the spent pleurotus eryngii substrate.Second, this thesis optimized the fermentative conditions of the substrate?studied the change of the nutrition and of the fermented substrate and.studied feed safety of the fermented substrate. Finally, this thesis studied the effect of substrate and fermented substrate on growth performance, health condition and fattening benefit of beef cattle by fattening experiment. This thesis included five experiments. The experiment ? tested feed safety of the spent pleurotus eryngii substrate, its included five parts:heavy metals, biological toxins,anti-nutrition factors, harmful microorganisms and pesticide residues. The results show that each testing result can meet the standard demand. The experiment ? optimized fermentative conditions of the substrate, studied the effect of different microorganism combinations(lactic acid bacteria, lactic acid bacteria-Saccharomyce,lactic acid bacteria-Saccharomyce-bacillus subtilis)and different moisture content(50%,60%,70%)on fermentation quality and aerobic stability of the fermented substrate. The experiment ? selected 20,6?7 months old,the third-generation male Japanese black cattles and divide them into three groups according to the principle:weight relative deviation ?5%and no significant difference(P>0.05)between any two groups.Group I fed the concentrate containing 30%fermented substrate(n=7);Group II fed the concentrate containing 30%substrate(n=7);Group ? fed the Basal diet(n=6).The preparation period is 7 days and and the formal experiment period is 70 days. The experiment studied the effect of substrate and fermented substrate on growth performance?fattening benefit and blood physiological and biochemical indexes?Result:it can improve the fattening benefit obviously that replacing 30%of concentrate by fermented substrate;here is no negative effect on blood physiological and biochemical indexes of beef cattle with eplacing 30%of concentrate by fermented substrate or substrate;fermented substrate can improve the immune level:TP is 8%higer than CK;ALB is 4.95%higer than CK,GLO is 11%higer than CK.The experiment IV studied the effect of substrate and fermented substrate on growth performance and fattening benefit under free feed intake of coarse fodder.Result:it can get best growth performance and fattening benefit that replacing 30%concentrate by substrate under free feed intake of coarse fodder.
