Cercidiphyllum japonicum is an extinct extinct old relict plant. The study on the distribution characteristics, survival status and reproductive characteristics of these "living fossils" has a positive role in saving endangered plants, promoting ecological balance, and studying the origin and evolution of species. This paper takes Cercidiphyllum japonicum as the research material, and carries on the following research: 1.We investigated the growth environment in Hou He Nature Reserve, and analyzed the causes of endangerment through investigation and data analysis.2.The stress resistance of Cercidiphyllum japonicum is studied, the main research area is water treatment and salt treatment.3.The factors affecting seed germination of Cercidiphyllum japonicum were studied, the main factors were hormones, temperature and soaking time.4.The main factors affecting the cutting propagation of Cercidiphyllum japonicum are the age of the branches, the location of the branches, the ratio of matrix, the condition of light and the use of hormone. The overall test results of this paper are as follows:1.The Cercidiphyllum japonicum in Hou he National Nature Reserve all grows in the community of rare tree species, and Cercidiphyllum japonicum is often associated with all kinds of rare and endangered plants. The wild Cercidiphyllum japonicum in the Hou River National Nature Reserve is scattered and far apart.Because it is a dioecious plant,so this is an expression of extinction.Because Cercidiphyllum japonicum is dioecious, the seed is small and the growth environment is poor,it makes the seed difficult to germinate, the regeneration of the seedlings is very difficult, and the man-made large area destruction accelerates the endangered degree of Cercidiphyllum japonicum. It is suggested that we should protect the wild species of incense tree in order to improve its endangered status through conservation measures such as in situ and ex situ conservation, seedling cultivation and cultivation techniques. We should make full use of this tree species through technology and capital input.2.From the growth of Cercidiphyllum japonicum, flooding and salting have significant effects on their growth.Under shallow flooding condition, the growth of A was not significantly affected, and the content of proline in Cercidiphyllum japonicum increased significantly. The growth of Cercidiphyllum japonicum was promoted by low salt condition. The growth of Cercidiphyllum japonicum was inhibited by high salt concentration, but no death was found. The activity of SOD and CAT and Pro content in Cercidiphyllum japonicum increased significantly under low salt concentration. If we develop SOD,CAT and Pro on Cercidiphyllum japonicum, low concentration salting treatment can be carried out.The growth of Cercidiphyllum japonicum was affected under the condition of flooding and high concentration of salt, but no death occurred. To a certain extent, the experiment shows that the tree has a certain adaptability to water flooding and salinization. From the geographical environment of Jianghan Plain,Cercidiphyllum japonicum can be introduced and domesticated in a small scale.3.In the process of Cercidiphyllum japonicum seed germination, the best treatment was 1 mk/kg GA1,the best aging temperature of seed was 40 ?,and the best seed soaking time was 18 h.Under this condition, the seed germination rate of incense tree reached 71.43%.4.The best branch age is three year old branch, the best location is the bottom of the tree, the best matrix ratio is the mixture of river sand and peat soil 1:1,the best light is 3 needle sun shading net treatment, the best hormone treatment is low concentration IBA(50 mg/kg)and high concentration VitB6(50 mg/kg).Under the best experimental conditions, the survival rate was 66.72% and 69.54%.
