Effect Of 4 Traditional Chinese Medicine Formulas In Diet On Tilapia Related Non-specific Immunity And Growth Index

This experiment selected four common traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions as anti-infectious formulas,Yamlingling Powder,Wuwei Disinfectant Drink,Yupingfeng Powder,and Qingfei Powder recorded in the traditional medical records and added in the equal-energy nitrogen tilapia diet.In the experimental diets there were five experimental diets,control,0.50%Bufaling Powder,0.50%Wuwei Disinfectant,0.50%Qingfei Powder and 0.50%Yupingfeng Powder respectively.The initial weight of the experimental diet was(5.00±0.20)g of GIFT tilapia juveniles for 30 days.Finally the test fish were tested on contents of superoxide enzyme(SOD),catalase(CAT),lysozyme(LZM);acid phosphatase(ACP),total protein,albumin;globulin as non-specific immune parameters in serum of tilapia.Also the test fish were tested on growth indicators and body composition such as specific growth rate(SGR),feed coefficient(FCR);survival rate(SR),contents of moisture,protein;ash,fat.The experiment researched the effects of four traditional Chinese medicines added in tilapia diets on non-specific immune parameters and growth indicators of tilapia.The experimental results showed that:(1)Compared with the control group,the contents of SOD,CAT,LZM and ACP(besides Yamlingling group)in serum of tilapia of 4 formalus were significantly higher(p<0.05).(2)Compared with the control group;the contents of globulin and total protein(besides Wuwei Disinfectant Drink group)in serum of tilapia of 4 formulas were significantly higher(p<0.05),and the content of albumin in serum of tilapia of Qingfei Powder group were significantly higher(p<0.05).(3)Compared with the control group,the survival rate and approximate values of the fish in the formulas groups had no significant influence(p>0.05);but the specific growth rate(SGR)and feed coefficient(FCR)in the formulas groups(besides Qingfei Powder group)were significantly increased(p<0.05).The results of this experiment are:(1)The four Chinese medicinal formulas in the diet can promote the non-specific immunity of tilapia and Yuping Fengsan shows best results.(2)Besides Qingfei Powder,other three Chinese medicine formulas in the diet can promote the growth of tilapia significantly(p>0.05)and Yamlingling Powder shows best results.
