Keteleeria cyclolepis Flous.is a rare and fast-growing tree species with high ornamental value of China.It is worth further research and exploitation.The plant's phenology reflects the life history countermeasure of plants,which can directly reflect the survival and reproduction of plants,nutrient cycling and energy flow.We study its phenology characteristics and physiological characteristics of seedling root leaf,which reveal its phenology characteristics and phenological node on the change of nutrient content.This can provide important scientific basis for exploitation and utilization of germplasm resources and elite breeding.In this paper,we observed the phenological characteristics in seedling leaf and root of Keteleeria cyclolepis Flous.and summarized its phenological changes.By comparative analysis,we found out the correlation between the phenological changes in the leaf and root of the Keteleeria cyclolepis Flous.In corresponding phenological node,we analasised nutrient acquisition in root and leaf samples of the Keteleeria cyclolepis Flous.,sumed up the change rule,and found the relationship between nutrient content to reveal the correlation of growth index on phenological node.The main results are as follows:(1)We used the "total root cleaning scan method" to observe the phenological characteristics in seedling root of Keteleeria cyclolepis Flous.The phenology in seedling root and leaf of Keteleeria cyclolepis Flous.can be divided into 4 period,and each phenological cycle 2 times each year.Referenced China phenological observation method and woody plants observation standard,the leaf phenology of seedling divided into two phase,according to the spring shoots and autumn shoots into bud on the stage(16th February and 5th August),buds swelled period(8th March and 27th August),bud development period(14th March and 2th September),exhibition leaf stage(leaves first grow(18th March and 7th September)and lamina stage(13th April and 30th September)).The root phenology is divided into revival period(23th February and 17th July),root elongation stage(19th March and 22th August),enlargement period(9th April and 24th September)and dormancy period(13th June and 26th December).(2)The root and leaf of seedling had two fast growing period in one year's growth cycle.There were significant differences in the rapid growth between different growth index,the rapid growth stage in spring and summer leaf growth was significantly higher than the root of autumn and winter fast growth period.(3)The nutrient elements content in root and leaf of seedling appears unimodal or bimodal type in various phenological node type seedling growth presents in the growth cycle of one year,and the elements exist two rapid growth in the cycle of change;In addition to Mg elements,the content of nutrient elements in the root system of the same phenological node or stage of development was significantly lower than that of the leaves in the same period.
