Since the reform and opening up,with the rapid development of China's economy,the people's living standard has been continuously improved and the demand for meat food is becoming larger and larger,which has prompted the rapid development of livestock breeding industry in China.At present,the farming structure of our country has begun to transform from the traditional way of rearing to modernization,intensification and scale.A large number of closed large-scale farms have been applied to livestock breeding.The closed breeding farm makes the livestock in a relatively closed environment,and the large scale livestock density is relatively large,which puts forward higher requirements for the environmental quality of the farm.The deterioration of the farm environment can lead to a large number of deaths of livestock.It not only causes huge economic losses,but also causes many infectious diseases and endangers human health.Animal wastes and food residues that are not cleaned up in the farm will produce harmful gases,such as CH4,NH3 and H2S.Harmful gas causes deterioration of air quality and seriously affects livestock growth.At present,there are many kinds of harmful gas monitoring equipment in the domestic market,but these devices are basically chemical or handheld.There are such problems as single monitoring of harmful gases,failure to realize network monitoring,data storage,expensive equipment and so on.The environmental monitoring of traditional farms needs manual field measurement and adjustment,which not only takes time and effort but also has low monitoring efficiency.With the rapid development of the Internet of things,the comprehensive application of WiFi wireless communication technology,sensor technology,database technology,Android App development technology and other advanced technologies are the research trend of the future breeding farm environment monitoring system.As a starting point,this paper designs and develops a set of system which can monitor the environment of the farm at any time and anywhere on the intelligent mobile terminal,and demonstrates the feasibility of the design by building the hardware and software platform and the function realization.Firstly,the influence of environment factors on livestock growth is analyzed.It is determined that temperature,humidity,light intensity,CH4,NH3 and H2S are the monitoring objects.On this basis,combined with the technology of Internet of things,we completed the overall design of remote monitoring system for farms,including hardware and software.The system mainly includes the following six parts:main control module,WiFi wireless communication module,sensor module,camera module,cloud server data processing center and Android App.Secondly,we choose the type of chip suitable for this system.On this basis,the hardware circuit of each module including the main control module,the sensor module,the WiFi wireless communication module and the camera module is designed,and the programming of the hardware modules of the system is completed under the Keil uVision5 development environment using the C language.Thirdly we completed the building of cloud server data processing center,including Tencent cloud server and Mysql database.Under the environment of eclipse development,the server receives the TCP connection request from the client and the server access Mysql database program from the client,and realizes the reception and storage of temperature,humidity,light intensity,CH4,NH3 and H2S data,and the transfer function to the user control instruction.Users through Android App on the farm environment latest data,historical data,latest picture data,historical picture data real-time query and remote control.The paper also completed the design and development of Android App,including the UI interface design of App and the design of the backstage data processing program,also define the frame format of data transmission in the system and the practical significance of the values of the data frames.The user can conveniently monitor the farm environment remotely on the intelligent mobile terminal.Finally,a whole system including software and hardware is built to verify the feasibility of the plan..It includes real-time data collection,data transmission,data receiving and data storage of the cloud platform,data query of Android App and sending of control instructions,forwarding of control instructions by cloud platform,and the feasibility of receiving control instructions by monitoring nodes to complete the 6 processes above control operation.
