New bionic ear of corn picking device shows its advantage by using bending and breaking ceremony principle,the snapping rate can reach 80%or more.However there exist a small amount of straw or straw nipper fracture phenomenon,for this situation,in order to optimize the snapping roll shape and size,and adjust the spacing conveyor belt holder,the paper need to study the physical properties of corn stalk.Because the clamping force for straw of the belt holding occurs in the ear portion of the straw,so it's need to study the mechanical properties on the part of the ear straw,including tensile breaking strength and bending breaking force.In this thesis,the research based on the new bionic corn-snapping device and reviewed the status research of corn stalk both in China and abroad and the current research status of snapping device.Choosing the Liudan 301 as the study subject in the research.Studying the physical properties and mechanical properties of corn stalks.The paper carried out tensile tests of corn stalk,bending tests of corn ear,tensile tests of corn ear;reverse tensile tests of corn ear and tensile tests of stalk of cluster by using WDW-20 computer-controlled electronic universal testing machine.The main contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)Designed a versatile fixture of corn stalk,which can simultaneously holding tensile tests of corn stalk and corn ear,bending and reverse tensile tests of corn ear,tensile tests of stalk of cluster.(2)The physical characteristics of corn stalk of Liudan 301 were determined and analyzed.Measuring the diameter of corn stalk and the the stem length;dividing corn ear into four sections,whose diameter is named to the left two diameter,the left one diameter,the middle diameter,the right one diameter and the right two diameter,which were measured respectively.Besides the length of corn ear were measured;measured the angle between the corn ear and corn stalk,most of the angles in 30 degrees;determined location of corn ear,mostly in section 6 and section 7.Analyzing these morphological parameters by using SPSS statistical software,which showed that The results were all positively distribution.(3)The mechanical characteristics of corn stalk of Liudan 301 were determined and analyzed.During the test,the testing force increases as the displacement,the testing force-displacement curve can be approximated as linear straight line,when a fault occurs,the testing force is reduced to zero after reaching the peak moment,and the test is completed.The peak is called destructive power,and the displacement corresponds to peak called destructive displacement,matching force-displacement curve,and the slope of the fitted curve is the stiffness coefficient.The results show that,when the average moisture content of the stalk was 74.3%,the average tensile breaking strength of the scope of section 1 through 7 is 300 to 700N,the average tensile breaking strength of corn stalk is 456.43N,the average bending strength of corn ear is 69.34N,the average reverse tensile breaking strength of corn ear is 181.51N,and the average tensile breaking strength of stalk of cluster is 515.23N.When the average moisture content of the stalk was 16.3%,the average tensile breaking strength of the scope of section 1 through 7 is 150 to 500N,The average tensile breaking strength of corn stalk is 241.06N,the average bending strength of corn ear is 34.71N,the average reverse tensile breaking strength of corn ear is 110.59N,and the average tensile breaking strength of stalk of cluster is 308.12N.(4)The data of destructive power,destructive displacement and stiffness coefficient got from the experiment were analyzed by one-way analysis of variance in SPSS,and statistical analysis revealed that the average corn stalk moisture content and location of the section have a very significant influence on destructive power,destructive displacement and stiffness coefficient.The average moisture content of corn stalk has a very significant influence on the tensile breaking strength of-corn stalk,breaking bending strength of corn ear,reverse tensile breaking strength of corn ear and tensile breaking strength of stalk of cluster.Analyzed the influence on tensile load of the moisture content and diameter of stalk of cluster,and the results showed that,the tensile load increases approximately linearly not only with the increase of moisture content of the stalk of cluster,but also with the diameter of the stalk of cluster.(5)A comparative analysis of the size of ear-corn stretching force and bending force,the size of corn stalk tensile strength and ear-corn bending strength,the size of corn stalk tensile strength and ear-corn reverse tensile force,drawing the conclusion is that the belt can clamp the location section 2,section 3,section 4,section 5 of spike stalk.
