Studies Of Sandard Description And Database Construction Of Malus Cultivars

Ornamental Apple,Chinese one of the traditional flowers,is Chinese important spring flowers,autumn fruit trees.At present,the homonymy and synonym of Chinese varieties of Crabapple are serious,the resources of varieties have not yet been investigated,there is no uniform specification and complete classification system for description of varieties.The Chinese crabapple has not made the test guide and the known variety database for the determination of the new variety of Crabapple in China,which affects the breeding and use of the new variety,academic exchange and variety popularization.This study focuses on the investigation of the variety resources of Crabapple.According to the comparative morphological research method,the description of characteristic information of Crabapple varieties is unified and standardized.On the basis of this,the DUS test guide and the database of known varieties are established for Crabapple varieties in China.The main findings are as follows:1.This paper focuses on the systematic investigation of the existing varieties of ornamental apple in China,especially on the survey records of the varieties in Beijing Botanical Garden and Shunyi Nursery,and gets the detailed information of 55 cultivars.2.On the basis of the investigation information,according to the comparative morphological research method,the morphological characteristics of ornamental apple were studied,and the description language of the information of the variety characteristics of ornamental apple was unified,standardized,and the record standard of morphological characteristics was established.A preliminary classification system of Crabapple cultivars was established.3.Based on a large number of varieties investigation and trait analysis,referring to the relevant documents of UPOV,the classification and classification of characters were standardized.On the basis of this,a test guide suitable for DUS test of new varieties of ornamental apple in China was developed.A total of 71 traits were included in the DUS test guide,and some of the traits in the trait table were interpreted graphically and verbatim.4.Based on the investigation of ornamental apple resources and the collection of related documents,the character information database of ornamental apple variety database was compiled,and the information of known varieties was established into a database expressed in Excel table.It lays a foundation for the establishment of a new variety test system for ornamental apple.
