The selection of traits that are economically benefits is always the goal of breeding. In actual production,it is not possible to select each trait. For some traits that have not yet been selected, whether it has the potential and value of genetic improvement is worth exploring. In this study,we use the puberty as an example to describe the non-selective traits, and number born in total(NBT),number born alive(NBA),birth weight per litter(LBW),the age at 100 kg(AGE)as the example to describe the select traits, from the view point of quantitative genetics character and select properties, choose the choice for the future character of genetic improvement to provide theoretical basis and the reference method. This experiment used the production and reproduction records of Duroc,Landrace, and Yorkshire collected from a pig farm in Fujian Province in 2009?2017,and used R software to perform data preprocessing, analysis of variance(ANOVA),and significance test, and make the trend of phenotypic and genetic chart. The DMUAI block of DMU software was used to estimate the genetic parameters of each trait, and the genetic correlation of each trait was analyzed.Research indicates:1.The age at puberty of Duroc,Landrace and Yorkshire sows were 222.49 ± 23.09,213.82 ± 23.04 and 212.96 ± 21.42,respectively;the heritability of puberty were 0.28,0.38,and 0.27,respectively,belonged to moderate heritability.Years and seasons had extremely significant influence on the puberty(P < 0.01),and the site had no significant influence on the puberty(P > 0.05).There was a negative correlation or very low positive correlation between puberty and NBT,NBA,and LBW,and there was a positive correlation with the low degree of AGE.The genetic trends of the three breeds of sows showed a downward trend with the year.2.The NBT of Duroc,Landrace, and Yorkshire sows were 8.82 ± 2.68,11.57 ± 3.30,and 11.36 ± 3.00,respectively;the heritability of NBT was 0.14,0.06,and 0.07,respectively,belonged to low heritability.Parity and years had a significant effect on NBT(P < 0.01).The season had a significant effect in Duroc(P < 0.05),and no significant effect in Landrace and Yorkshire(P > 0.05).The NBT was highly correlated with NBA,moderate highly correlated with LBW,low correlated with AGE.There was no obvious genetic trend in Duroc, but the genetic trends in Landrace and Yorkshire showed an upward trend with the year.3.The NBA of Duroc,Landrace, and Yorkshire sows were 7.80 ± 2.56,10.33 ± 3.07,and 10.15 ± 2.85,respectively;the heritability of NBA was 0.15,0.07,and 0.08,respectively,which were low heritability.Parity and years had a significant effect on NBA(P < 0.01).The season had a significant effect in Duroc and Yorkshire(P < 0.01),and no significant effect in Landrace(P > 0.05).NBA had a moderate highly correlated with LBW,and a low correlation between the number of live pigs in Duroc and Yorkshire and AGE.NBA in Landrace was moderately correlated with AGE.There was no obvious genetic trend in Duroc, and the genetic trends in Landrace and White showed an upward trend with the year.4.The LBW of Duroc,Landrace and Yorkshire sows were: 13.33 ± 4.32,16.75 ± 4.68,and 15.52 ± 4.29,respectively;the heritability of LBW was 0.15,0.08,and 0.11,respectively,which were low heritability. The parity and age had a significant effect on LBW(P < 0.01).The season had an extremely effect on LBW of Duroc(P < 0.01),and no significant effect on LBW of Landrace(P > 0.05).and a significant effect on LBW of Yorkshire(P<0.05).LBW of Duroc and Yorkshire were negative correlation with AGE,LBW of Landrace were moderate positively correlation with AGE.There is no obvious genetic trend in LBW of Duroc, but the genetic trends of Landrace and Yorkshire show an upward trend with the year.5.The AGE of Duroc,Landrace, and Yorkshire were: 148.83 ± 8.10,149.45 ± 7.92,146.66 ± 8.54,respectively.The heritability of AGE was 0.19,0.28,and 0.33,respectively,belonged to moderate heritability.Sex,age, and season had extremely significant effects on AGE(P<0.01).The site had no significant effect on AGE(P>0.05).The genetic trends of Duroc and Yorkshire decreased with the year, and the genetic trend of Landrace show an upward trend with the year.
