The test of a series of annual herb Pacific rose pink aura periwinkle(Catharanthus roseus)as the experimental material, studied the summer different shading rate(30%,50%,which were(CK)as contrast],for its long, flowering stems number, leaf width, chlorophyll content, soluble sugar and soluble protein and malondialdehyde(MDA),superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity, peroxidase(POD)and catalase(CAT)activity and so on.The results show that:Light environmental impact is all-round,from one factor to lead to the influence of other factors to adjust and achieve dynamic balance, periwinkle under shaded conditions can also complete the life cycle, and the main phenotypic ecological adaptation to reduce the biomass allocation of reproductive allocation, guarantee the stems and branches to enhance the ground supporting system extensibility,to get more light as much as possible.According to the experimental data, when the shade is 30%,the changes of the various aspects of changchun flowers are small, and the plant growth is basically normal, without affecting the ornamental. However, when the shade reaches 50%,with the decrease of the light, the falling flower of changchun is serious, and the reproductive growth is suppressed, the physiological indexes vary greatly, and the ornamental value is greatly reduced.Visible, the appropriate shading does not affect the periwinkle ornamental value,so for years relative sunshine duration was 30% ~ 50% or less in sichuan province and even in some south-west Africa sun abundant, large periwinkle is feasible,is suitable for large-scale use in landscape construction.
