The fermentation bed breeding chicken is base on the principle of ecology,a new model of modern chicken raising with the fusion of fermentation technology and culture technology.Sawdust is the main raw material of the traditional fermentation bed, with the rapid development of large-scale chicken raising, the pollution caused by manure is becoming more and more serious, because of the relative lack of sawdust in northern Shaanxi area, the source of raw material has become a restricted factor of fermented bed chickens. In order to study the problem of sawdust shortage, this project chooses the more adaptable and vigorous Jun grass part instead of sawdust to breed pheasant.Through the determination of the relevant indicators, expect to obtain the optimal Jun grass fermentation bed substitution rate and method is most suitable for the growth of pheasant breeding. This study is divide into two stages: the first stage is the study of the proportion screening for the fermentation mattress material, the test set up four processing groups. The specific experimental design is: 80% sawdust+20% wheat bran as traditional fermentation bed group(control group),10% Jun grass+90% control group,30% Jun grass+70% control group,50% Jun grass +50% control group.Determination of temperature, moisture content, total nitrogen, organic matter and seed germination index during the 60 d test period. The following results were obtained:(1)During the early stage of fermentation process, the temperature of 30% Jun grass+70% control group was higher than that of other treatment group, and still had good insulation ability after laying.(2)control group,10% Jun grass + 90% control group,30% Jun grass+70% control group had no difference in moisture content(p>0.05),the moisture content performance of 50% Jun grass+50% control group was the worst.(3)Total nitrogen and organic matter content in four treatment groups showed a decreasing trend, among which 30% Jun grass+70% control group had the highest total nitrogen and organic matter content, which showed a significant difference with other groups(p<0.05),there was no difference between control group and the 50% Jun grass+50% control group(p>0.05).(4)After 60 d,four treatment groups of bedding materials for the plant is basically no toxicity, can be used to return to the field reuse.30% Jun grass+70% control group of GI significantly higher than other three treatment groups(p<0.05),can quickly remove the seeds of small rapeseed plant toxicity.Combined cost analysis,30% Jun grass replacement sawdust is the best fermentation mattress combination. The second stage is the effect of different culture methods on the rearing effect of the pheasant.Three species of culture were selected as: the Fermentation bed(30% Jun grass+70% control group),cement floor and cage. Each group is rearing in 27 at the age of 12 weeks in good health, weight close male pheasant.Determination the differences with growth performance, chicken quality and microbial community in cecum content after rearing 60 d.The following results were obtained:(1)Comparing with the other two groups, the fermentation bed had higher weight gain, less feed intake and lower feed conversion ratio. The growth performance of the cage group was the worst.(2)After slaughter and bloodletting, there was no difference in chicken quality between the fermentation bed group and the cage group(p>0.05).The drip loss rate of the chicken was low,the pH value decreased slowly, and the meat quality was better. The meat quality of the cage group was the worst.(3)By detecting the microbial community in cecum content,Escherichia coli and salmonella were significantly lower than the other two treatment groups(p<0.05).Combined with the above three points, the Jun grass fermentation bed in the breeding of pheasant has a greater advantage and utilization value.
