Study And Application Of Cow Dung Mixture Bedding In Hohhot Area

This experiment was carried out in Hohhot area under different ambient temperature conditions after the accumulation and fermentation of cow dung,after harmless treatment,as cattle bedding.Compared with the original bedding,the bed-rest rate and lying-down time of the cows were observed,and the environmental mastitis and breast surface cleanliness of the bedding were detected.To find the best bedding for cows lying down under different ambient temperature conditions.The results are as follows:1.effect of different ambient temperature and different initial water content on the natural fermentation of cow dung:at different temperatures,the liquid cow dung was separated by solid-liquid separator for natural accumulation fermentation,the solid cow dung with different water content affected the fermentation temperature,the solid cow dung water content was about 50%,the lowest fermentation temperature was 12?,and the water content was 65%-70%solid cow dung,the lowest fermentation temperature was 15?.If the temperature is less than 15? or the temperature is serious,the fermentation can not be completed.2.Application of cow dung pad in winter:under the cold condition of winter,the cow dung mixed pad was used as the cow bed pad and compared with the original pad,the time of cow lying down and the rate of going to bed increased obviously.The ratio of cow dung to rice husk was 7:3,which was better than other ratios.3.Spring and summer cow dung pad:when the spring temperature is low,cows prefer cow dung mixed pad,after the temperature increases,sand and cow dung sand mixed pad is more suitable.After the average temperature is more than 10?,the should be replaced in time according to the situation.4.The highest number of E.coli was 22.95 copy/ml,the highest number of Klebsiella was 11.02 copy/ml;and the highest number of Streptococcus was 4.78 copy/ml.copy/ml.of escherichia coli 21.72 copy/ml;gramlebsiella 14.31 copy/ml;streptococcus 3.69 after defrosting Test 7 d after cow dung bedding,E.coli 48.92 copy/ml;Klebsiella 13.17 copy/ml,spherule copy/ml.2.73 Environmental mastitis detection value is normal,so fermented cow dung can be used as cattle bedding in Hohhot area under low temperature in winter.5.summer sand group and cow dung sand mixed group,the results of bacterial detection were as follows:Escherichia coli was 0,Klebsiella was 0,and the number of Streptococcus was maintained below 10 copy/ml.The test value is normal,so the mixed mat of cow dung sand in summer can also be used as the mat of cattle in the high temperature period of summer in Hohhot area.
