Study On Seed Germination Characteristics And Seedling Cultivating Techniques Of Empetrum Nigrum Var.japoncum

In order to explore the sexual reproduction technology of Empetrum nigrum var.japoncum,the seeds basic characteristics of E.nigrum var.japoncum were determined,the seed germination and seedling cultivation experiments were carried out by different sprouting methods,temperature and illumination,the conclusions are as follows:(1)The thousand kernel weight of the seeds was 0.963 g,the purity,the moisture content and seeding rate of those seeds were 92.25%,3.70% and 54.51% respectively.The diameter,longitudinal diameter and thickness of seed were 1.61 mm,1.05 mm,and 0.82 mm respectively;There are 4~15 seeds of single fruit,6~9 in general,and 7 are the most.(2)The water absorption rate reached the highest(25.78%)after soaking at room temperature for 6 h,which is the best time for soaking.(3)Compared with different treatment methods,the most suitable germination method is that after H2SO4 treatment 10 min,10min is soaked with GA3 of 1000 ppm concentration.The most suitable germination condition is light 12 h,constant temperature 25,the germination rate can reach 26%.(4)At the temperature of 15 ~35,the germination rate of seed germination was accelerated with the increase of temperature,and the germination rate was greater than that of the variable temperature and the light was greater than the unrelated illumination,and the seedling growth was stronger than that of the seedlings without light.(5)The suitable conditions for seedling growth are light intensity 10000 lx,vermiculite 1000cm3+1/4MS nutrient solution 50 ml.
