This experiment was conducted to study the different ages of Arbor Acres Broilers on nutrient metabolism rate,metabolic energy and standard ileal amino acid digestibility and establish prediction model of rice and broken rice.The experimental animal were divided into two stages,each phase is composed of 3 kinds of different diets as follows: The total of 1040 same weight and health status Arbor Acres of 1 day old white feather broiler,first stage is eighth days of age are randomly divided into 13 treatment groups(12 treatment groups which were 6 different sources of rice and broken rice group,and a nitrogen-free diet)8 replicates of 6 chicks per replicate.Second stage is the twenty-second days old chickens divided into 13 treatments with 8 replicates of 4 broilers in each replicate.Each replicate between the average weight is controlled in less than 3%.Experimental animal in the non-experimental period is feed with NRC 1994 standard nutritional needs diets.The age of 8-10 days and 22-24 days is the pre-experiment period,the 11-14 days and 25-28 days is the experimental period,in the two period the experimental chicken are feeding experimental and nitrogen-free diet.In the experiment,to guarantee the protein is only from the experimental feed and nutrition balance expect of amino acids.Brolier chicken in 11-13 and 25-27 days of age collect fecal to measure metabolic energy and nutrient digestibility,in 14 and 28 days of age slaughter by anaesthetic and collect the ileum chyme to measure the amino acid digestibility.The results shows,the nitrogen-correction of Apparent Metabolizable Energy value of 14 days age of broiler feed rice and Broken rice are significantly higher than 28 days of age,it is possibly that the main material which provide the energy in rice and broken rice is the starch,and the digestive enzymatic activity which is digesting the starch in the broilers' pancreas and intestinal tract reach the peak in 10 days age,therefore the 14 days age broiler energy utilization is more than 28 days age.Using the nitrogen-free diet method to determination the broilers' standardized ileal amino acid digestibility,it is significant difference of the amino acid digestibility between the different sources but the same kind ingredients and different ages broilers.Broilers at 28 days of age the standardized ileal amino acid digestibility is higher than 14 days of age by 2%~6%,the research shows that the 28 days old broilers' gastrointestinal development compared with 14 days old is better on protein digestibility.This study shows that age is the main factor affecting the amino acid digestibility of broilers,in the formula design should be considered seriously.The nitrogen correction metabolizable energy(AMEn),amino acid content and standardized ileal amino acid digestibility of rice and broken rice is been determined in the research,to provide reference basis for the improvement of feed nutrition value database.
