Study On Pollen Longevity And Pollination Compatibility Of Superior Lonicera Edulis Turcz. Individuals

The fruit of Lonicera edulis Turcz.is widely distributed in Northeast China as a new small pulp fruit.The fruit of Lonicera edulis Turcz.contains very rich bioactive substances.It has high health and medicinal value,and has been paid more and more attention by people.However,the distribution of wild resources,the difficulty of picking and the large variation of fruit are far from satisfying the needs of consumers.Therefore,a large number of artificial cultivation has been carried out,but there are few studies on pollination compatibility.In order to solve the problems of low fruit setting rate and low yield caused by blind planting in production,the medium formula and pollination habit of indigo pollen germination in Changbai Mountain were studied by using the fine individual plant of wild Lonicera eclulis Turcz.in Changbai Mountain as the test material.The self-compatibility and the open pollination compatibility among different individual plants provide theoretical basis for its further popularization and application as well as the breeding of new varieties.The results are as follows:1?The optimum medium for pollen germination of Lonicera edulis Turcz.was 27.5%sucrose 100 ppm boric acid,pH 6.0,L1,and L1,respectively.The pollen germination rates of L2 and L3 on this medium were 53.4%,50.9%and 51.6%,respectively.(The number of single pollen tubes germinated was the main one.)2?Under the unsuitable culture medium,the pollen of Lonicera edulis Turcz.could germinate more than one pollen tube,and the number of germinating multiple pollen tube was not significantly different among the three superior individual plants,all of which were between 1 and 4,among which,the germination of three pollen tubes was the most,and there was no significant difference in the number of pollen tubes among the three superior plants.The pollen tube length was shorter than that of pollen grain diameter and could not be further elongated.3?The effects of different storage environment on the life span of indigo pollen were significant.The indigo pollen could only be kept alive for about a week at room temperature,and stored in the freezer layer for about one month,and stored in the refrigerator freezer layer for about one month,and the growth of indigo pollen could only be maintained for one week at room temperature.And the germination rate of storage for one year was not significantly different from that at the beginning of storage.4?If the female parent flower blossoms first,the male parent pollen can be stored in the freezer layer of refrigerator for the second year of cross breeding.When collecting indigo pollen,clear weather should be selected.The scattered pollen should be collected on the same day after the anther is collected and peeled off in the morning,and stored in the freezer layer in order to improve the pollen germination rate.5?Three fine indigo plants belong to insect-pollination,L1 self-incompatibility,L2 self-cross seed setting rate is 100%,L3 self-pollination seed setting rate is 85%,the open pollination fruit setting rate is 94%,96%and 98%respectively.Therefore,pollination tree or multiple varieties should be used in L1 production to improve yield,but L2 and L3 need not be equipped with pollination tree in theory,but there is no difference in quality between self-pollinated and outbred fruit.
