| In order to fully understand the application status of ornamental plants in indoor offices in Chongqing,in this paper,questionnaires and field visits were conducted to investigate the supply status of ornamental plants in the major flower markets in Chongqing,and also to investigate the application status of ornamental plants,taking Chongqing City Management Vocational College,University Town Hospital Affiliated to Chongqing Medical University,Chongqing Hechuan District College of Humanities and Technology,and Chongqing construction ninth engineering Co.,Ltd.as examples.The main conclusions are as follows:1.Employees’ enthusiasm to participate in ornamental plant configuration is not high.The main force of plant allocation is young and middle-aged people and 68.58%of them are women;2.The diversity of ornamental plants species is low and the repetition rate is high.,we found that in totally,only 40 plant species/varieties were used by four different Institutional Organizations/companies in the configuration of ornamental plants in office environment.3.The plant configuration in my research lacks ornamentality and artistry.Lack of diversity and flexibility;4.Lack of professional plant management.Through investigation and analysis,the main factors affecting the configuration of ornamental plants in Chongqing indoor office are due to the staff’sunwilling totake part in plant configuration,the lack of a good cultural atmosphere and the lack of professional technicians.Suggestions for these problems are as follows:firstly,attaching the importance to the configuration of ornamental plants in indoor office,secondly,combining the functions of plants with aesthetics,thirdly,it is necessarily to employ professional staffs for plant cultivation and management. |
