In this study,14 rose?Rosa hybrid L.?varieties were used as cross parents in routine cross breeding experiment,the varieties were as follows: ‘Iceberg',‘Matilda',‘Woburn Abbey',‘Marina',‘Atocha',‘Kuisongxiang',‘Chuntian',‘Royal Amethyst',‘Blue Moon',‘Blue Ribbon',‘Lady X',‘Meduse',‘Yanzhidianyu' and ‘Nanhailanghua'.The pollen viability of some parents was compared under different storage temperatures;21 groups of hybrid combinations were completed during our hybrid experiment,100 fruits of 14 hybrid combinations were received,2088 hybrid seeds were obtained,and 39 annual hybrid seedlings were obtained;Tissue culture experiment of 5 F1 hybrids was also carried out in order to provide references for the color breeding of floribunda roses in the future.The results of this study were as follows:1 Pollen storage and viability determination of parentsThe pollen viability of 7 parents rose varieties?‘Blue Moon',‘Atocha',‘Blue Ribbon',‘Yanzhidianyu' ‘Meduse',‘Lady X',‘Kuisongxiang'?were measured by suspension sprouting method.The results showed that roses' pollen stored at room temperature could be preserved for 3 days,and the pollen stored at freezing temperature at-18 ? for 15 days,and the elongation of pollen tube was better than that of pollen stored at room temperature.2 Cross breeding experiment of floribunda roses?1?In 2016,21 groups of hybrid combinations of rose were completed,100 fruits of 14 hybrid combinations were received,and 2088 hybrid seeds were obtained.In 2017,a total of 39 annual hybrid seedlings were finally obtained,including 9 hybrid seedlings of ‘Atocha' × ‘Yanzhidianyu';1 hybrid seedling of ‘Marina' × ‘Blue Moon';3 hybrid seedlings of ‘Marina' × ‘Lady X';16 hybrid seedlings of ‘Chuntian' × ‘Meduse';2 hybrid seedlings of ‘Yanzhidianyu' ×'Kuisongxiang';2 hybrid seedlings of ‘Matilda' × ‘Lady X';4 hybrid seedlings of ‘Chuntian' × ‘Kuisongxiang';2 hybrid seedlings of ‘Matilda' × ‘Nanhailanghua'.?2?There were 8 cross combinations with better cross compatibility?fruit setting rate ?50%?,namely,‘Matilda' × ‘Lady X'?55.56%?;‘Marina' × ‘Meduse'?55.56%?;‘Atocha' × ‘Yanzhidianyu'?59.09%?;‘Atocha' × ‘Lady X'?71.43%?;‘Chuntian' בYanzhidianyu'?50.00%?;‘Chuntian' × ‘Meduse',?77.78%?;‘Chuntian' × ‘Kuisongxiang'?55.56%?;‘Yanzhidianyu' × ‘Kuisongxiang'?66.67%?.And there were also 7 cross combinations are cross-incompatibility,namely,‘Ice berg' × ‘Royal Amethyst';‘Iceberg' × ‘Blue Moon';‘Woburn Abbey' × ‘Lady X';‘Marina' × ‘Nanhailanghua';‘Marina' × ‘Yanzhidianyu';‘Blue Ribbon' × ‘Kuisongxiang';‘Lady X' × ‘Kuisongxiang'.The hybrid combination when female parents were ‘Matilda',‘Atocha',and ‘Chuntian',the seed germination rate is relatively better?more than 20%?.But germination rate of cross combinations with female parent ‘Marina' are relatively lower,3 hybrid combinations?‘Marina' × ‘Lady X',‘Marina' × ‘Meduse',‘Marina' × ‘Blue Ribbon'?was less than 10%,the highest?‘Marina' × ‘Blue Moon'?was only 13.46%.3 Tissue culture experiment of hybrid F1 generationStems contained axillar buds of 5 F1 hybrids ‘AY02',‘AY03',‘YK01',‘CK01',‘CK04' were used as explants for tissue culture experiment.The germination rate on initiation medium?MS+2mg/L 6-BA+0.1mg/L NAA?for 5 F1 hybrids is 64.00%?AY02?,72.41%?AY03?,83.33%?YK01?,77.78%?CK01?and 76.19%?CK04?.The optimum proliferation medium for AY02 is MS+2mg/L 6-BA+0.1mg/L NAA,the optimum rooting medium for AY02 is 1/2MS+0.1mg/L NAA;The optimum proliferation medium for AY03,YK01 and CK01 is MS+2mg/L 6-BA+0.05mg/L NAA,the optimum rooting medium for AY03,YK01 and CK01 is 1/2MS+0.2mg/L NAA;The optimum proliferation medium for CK04 are MS+2mg/L 6-BA+0.05mg/L NAA and MS+2mg/L 6-BA+0.1mg/L NAA;The optimum rooting medium for CK04 is 1/2MS+0.2mg/L NAA.
