Study On Introduction Screening And Culture Mediums Of New Flower Varieties In Nanning Of Guangxi

Landscape flowers have the characteristics of wide varieties,rich colors and florescence.They can be potted and also be opened in field,which play a unique role in enriching garden landscape and beautify the urban environment.In order to enrich landscape flowers of different flower types,colors and florescence in Nanning,and increase the choice of landscape flower varieties during holidays and major events,this research introduced new varieties of landscape flowers to carry on cultivation testing,which are Heavenly Chrysanthemum,Impatiens Super Elf,Dance Spring Flower(Million Bells),Carnation Diamond Pink,Swollen Handle Chrysanthemum Sun Festival Orange Red,and so on.It observed and recorded the growth and development status of new varieties introduced in the natural environment,carry out comparison of adaptive and ornamental,and explore ornamental and application prospects of all varieties.It chose Angelonia angustifolia and Plumbago auriculata to carry on cuttage propagation testing to preliminary inquiry of breeding of these two species.The research's results were as follows:1.Through comprehensive evaluation of the growth characteristics,development status,the performance of field cultivation,value of the application and so on of all varieties,Cleome spinos,Angelonia angustifolia,Pentas lanceolata ,Echinacea purpurea and Plumbago auriculata adopt to the introduction and promote value of the application in Nanning.2.Flowers suitable for planting in the courtyard including big Persian Sonata mixed color varieties,three-color Corydalis macula,chrysanthemum,etc.Flowers suitable for the background of the border were white chrysanthemum,carnation red edge white and carnation diamond pink varieties.Capsicum annuum and Thunbergia alata could be appropriately cultivated selectively,which need to be grown under shade conditions.3.The experiment of different substrate ratio showed that 100%garden soil was the most unsuitable substrate for flower cultivation,and 100%coconut bran was the best substrate with good quality and low price.
