Screening For High Quality Varieties And Fertilization-Research Of Tobacco At Chenzhou

Nowadays,people’s consumption of tobacco gradually goes up and their requirements for the quality of tobacco also become higher and higher.Therefore,selecting the most suitable varieties of tobacco through field experiments as well as the study of the fertilizer rate would improve the production and quality of tobacco.Which would also make Chinese tobacco industry develop steadily and healthily.For this purpose,the field trials of six new varieties of tobacco were set up in Southern Hunan,which was to pick up high-quality varieties of tobacco comparing to two traditional varieties of tobacco,K326 and Yunyan 87.The results of experiments show that CZ43 is the best in all aspects.So,the continuing filed trials were designed to try to find out the relationships between fertilization and CZ43’s yield,quality,growth and disease resistance.The main conclusions of above researches are:1.CZ43 is the most suitable variety tobacco at Chenzhou of the 6 new varieties.Because it has the highest output:as much as ￥ 3 831/mu.which was 960/mu higher than Yunyan 87 and 447/mu higher than K326.CZ43 also has many other advantages invarious aspects.More researchs shoud be taken for the widely popularization of CZ43.2.As the rise of fertilizer quantity of CZ43 and K326,their growth potential was improved,their leaf colors became darker,their leaf areas were increased,and their field uniformity was promoted.Besides,CZ43’s performances were better than K326’s.3.Based on the data from filed trials,the CZ43’s disease resistance was significantly greater than K326 too.And the CZ43 show the best incidence of all varieties of diseases at the fertilization of 11 kg per mu.4.The CZ43 had the best output(Y3540/mu)at the fertilization of 11 kg per mu,which was significantly greater than the other 4 different fertilizations.And more fertilization than 11 kg per mu may lead to a lower output.Finally it is concluded that,because of the highest output and many other advantages invarious aspects,CZ43 is the most suitable variety tobacco at Chenzhou of the 6 new varieties.And CZ43 had the best output(Y3540/mu)at the fertilization of 11 kg per mu.
