Pseudorabies is an acute infectious disease caused by pseudorabies virus,which can infect a variety of animals,mainly characterized by itchy skin and severe neurological symptoms.After 2011,pseudorabies outbreaks occurred in pig farms across the country,which seriously affected the development of China's aquaculture industry and caused huge economic losses.In order to determine the prevalence of pseudorabies in Shanxi Province,Competitive ELISA technique is used to detect g E and g B antibodies in pig serum.More than 20 pseudorabies suspected samples in Shanxi Province were detected by common PCR method,and positive samples were further processed.After inoculation in ST cells,the genetic variation of g B and g E was analyzed after strain isolation,in order to determine the epidemic characteristics as well as the isolation and identification of pseudorabies pathogens in Shanxi province strains,In current study,a total of 6622 serum samples were tested in different time points in eight regions of Shanxi Province.The results showed that the about 30.56% were g E positive.While 89.69 was g B positive in tested batch samples.The PCR detection method for pseudorabies wild poison was used for more than 20 pseudorabies suspected samples from different regions of Shanxi,two positive samples of pseudorabies wild venom were obtained and were treated for inoculation in to ST cells.And the cells were observed at 12 hours interval.After 12 hours,obvious cytopathic effect(CPE)began to appear.After 36 hours,the cells were completely lesioned.The genetic evolution analysis of g B and g E genes of these two viruses revealed that these two viruses were all variants,which were prevalent in China.The strain belongs to the same evolutionary branch and belongs to a different evolutionary branch from the foreign strains.It is closely related to the pseudorabies strains in Hubei and other places.In conclude,the wild rabies virus infection in Shanxi Province is more serious,and the success rate of vaccine immunization is also ideal.The most important pseudorabies strain in Shanxi Province may be caused by the large number of imported poisonous breeding pigs from all over the country.Therefore,each farm should d follow vital biosafety measures to strengthen the vaccine immunization.
