Comparison And Nutritional Quality Analysis Of Chinese Cabbage Varieties At Different Sowing Dates

Chinese flowering cabbage is a vegetable with high nutritional value and economic value.Because agricultural producers do not know enough about the characteristics of chinese flowering cabbage varieties in production,blind introduction and not suitable cultivation methods caused a lot of economical losses in Jingzhong area of Shanxi Province.In this experiment,six excellent varieties were introduced from Guangzhou Vegetable Institute and be carried out variety comparison.By comparing phenological period,agronomic characters and quality traits in harvesting of these varieties,the varieties suitable for different stubble cultivation in Jinzhong area of Shanxi Province were screened out.The results are as follows:1.In protected cultivation in Jinzhong area of Shanxi Province,the six varieties of chinese flowering cabbage can be cultivated in all four seasons,but the optimum sowing date for each variety were different,the appropriate varieties suitable to sow in March were ‘Lvbao 70',‘Chixin 2' and ‘Teqingchixin 4',and the ‘Chixin 2' was the best.In May,the suitable sowing varieties had ‘Youlv 701',‘Youlv 802',‘Chixin 2'and ‘Teqingchixin 4',and ‘Teqingchixin 4' was the best.In July,the appropriate sowing varieties had‘Lvbao 70',‘Youlv 701',‘Youlv 702' and ‘Youlv 802',and ‘Youlv 702' was the optimal variety.All six varieties were suitable for sowing in September,‘Chixin 2' was the best.In November,the appropriate sowing varieties included ‘Youlv 802' and ‘Chixin 2',and ‘Youlv 802' were superior to ‘Chixin 2'.2.In nutritional quality,the content of vitamin C and chlorophyll b was the highest in ‘Lvbao 70',the content of soluble sugar in ‘Youlv 802' was the highest,and the content of soluble protein,chlorophyll a,carotenoid and total chlorophyll in ‘Teqingchixin 4' was the highest.From a comprehensive analysis point of view,‘Teqingchixin 4' < ‘Youlv 702' / ‘Chixin 2' < ‘Youlv 802' < ‘Youlv 701' < ‘Lvbao 70'.3.According to the plant width during the period of “Qihuakou”,the sowing quantity is as follows:‘Youlv 701' > ‘Lvbao 70' /'Youlv 802' > ‘Teqingchixin 4' > ‘Chixin 2' > Youlv 702'.From the beginning of bolting stage to the period of “Qihuakou”,the amount of fertilizer and water demand in this development stage were as follows: ‘Chixin 2' ? ‘Lvbao 70' / ‘Youlv 701' ? ‘Youlv 802' ? ‘Youlv 702' ?‘Teqingchixin 4'.
