Since the continuous reform of the collective forest rights system, farmers have become the decision-making body of forestry production and management.Farmers have been continuously and stably involved in forestry production and management.Only in this way can they effectively exert forestry economic and ecological benefits and promote The development of modern forestry. The efficiency of forest land use is an important issue closely related to the development of forestry economy. However, with the acceleration of urbanization and the deepening of rural reform, more and more rural laborers are engaged in non-agricultural work, and a large number of rural labor forces are transferred or reduced.Inevitably,it will have an impact on the efficiency of forestland use in rural areas. Therefore,in order to ensure the stable growth of the forestry economy,it is crucial to study the impact of non-agricultural employment of rural labor on the efficiency of forest land use.Based on the field survey data of 226 rural households in 12 villages in 3 towns and towns of Lin'an District,Hangzhou City,Zhejiang Province, this paper takes Leizhulin as an example to study the impact of rural labor non-agricultural employment on bamboo forest land use efficiency.Firstly, the basic characteristics of the sample area, the status of non-agricultural employment and the status quo of bamboo forest land are analyzed.Secondly, based on the statistical description, the efficiency value of each decision-making unit is measured by the BCC model in the data envelopment model. Finally, the analysis of the influence mechanism is constructed. The influence path between non-agricultural employment, bamboo forest land outflow and bamboo forest land use efficiency was analyzed by using the mediation effect analysis model and the intermediary variable of bamboo forest land outflow to empirically analyze the impact of non-agricultural employment on bamboo forest land use efficiency.According to the above research, the research conclusions are as follows:(1)At present, the non-agricultural employment degree of rural labor force in the sample area is 47.88%,the overall quality of labor engaged in non-agricultural work is relatively high, and the middle-aged and elderly people engaged in bamboo forest production activities in rural areas are mainly.(2)Different farmer households have different management and input levels of bamboo forest land, which in turn affects the output level of bamboo forest land;secondly, the proportion of bamboo forest land outflow of sample farmers is not high, although there is non-agricultural employment,it is the most basic family. The protection of farmers has not easily flowed to the woodland.(3)Based on the input and output data of 226 households, the data envelopment model is used to measure the utilization efficiency of bamboo forest land. The results show that the average value of bamboo forest land comprehensive efficiency, pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency are 0.685,0.753 and 0.921,respectively.The overall efficiency is general, there is no potential to maximize production potential, and there is room for improvement;91.3% DMU The scale efficiency is concentrated between 0.7 and 1,and the pure technical efficiency exceeds 0.7,accounting for 54.87%.Therefore,improving the pure technical efficiency is the key to improving the utilization efficiency of bamboo forest.(4)Empirical analysis shows that non-agricultural employment not only has a direct positive impact on the efficiency of bamboo forest use,but also has an indirect positive impact on bamboo forest use efficiency through the intermediary variable of bamboo forest land outflow. The effect measurement results show that the direct impact effect of non-agricultural employment on bamboo forest land use efficiency is 0.0008,and the indirect impact effect of bamboo forest land outflow is 0.0004.In addition, among other control variables, the degree of education of the head of household has a significant positive impact on the outflow of bamboo forest land;while the impact of the number of family labor on the outflow of bamboo forest land is significantly negative at the level of 1%;the income of bamboo forests, the age of households Both have a significant impact on the efficiency of bamboo forest use at the level of 1%.On this basis, the relevant countermeasures and suggestions for improving the utilization efficiency of bamboo forest land are put forward.
