With the development of forestry science and informatization,the management of forestry information and forest resources,and the cost of determining the actual use of earth land and forest land,it is necessary to systematically and comprehensively evaluate and calculate the value of forest resources,as well as their costs and benefits.It involves a large amount of data collection and model calculation when evaluating the value of forest resources.Usually,the calculation and data processing in terms of value evaluations of forest resources are mostly done manually,which is rather time and energy-consuming,and is easily prone to deviation.Therefore,the establishment of value evaluation system with component-based GIS technology and ArcGIS Engine as the core for Beijing forest resources can definitely improve the calculation accuracy and work efficiency,conforming to the development of the cutting-edge in precise forestry,and providing favorable decision-making supports for managers as well as realizing the long-term sustainable development of forest management.Based on the above situation,this paper has established a set of reasonable and feasible value evaluation system on Beijing forest resources responding to the work of Beijing forest resource evaluation.The main research contents are as follows:(1)This paper designs and implements a set of value evaluation system for Beijing forest resources based on component-based GIS technology,with functions like GIS basic operation,evaluation algorithm design,forest resources evaluation and statistical analysis included.(2)This paper mainly adopts the object-oriented and system-applied design method.What's more,it introduces the actual functional requirements,key technologies,system architecture design,database design and functional principle analysis both in the system design and implementation process.Moreover,it implements the studies on key functions such as basic functions,forest resources evaluation algorithm and data statistical analysis.Finally,this paper elaborates the implementation effects and functions as well as the actual test results of performance.(3)The calculation method applied in the operation process of value evaluation system over Beijing forest resources is systematically analyzed:It studies and discusses the forest land evaluation algorithm applicable to different value evaluation calculations in terms of different forest land types and the corresponding forest tree evaluation algorithm applicable to various age groups and tree species.Besides,it provides explanations for the various indicators in the algorithm.Furthermore,it finds out the accuracy-damaging technical problems in the system based on the studies on value evaluation of forest resources,as well as elaborates the availability of each algorithm in the system.Thus,the calculation results can reflect the value of forest resources more accurately and truthfully.The system established in this study is dedicated to the evaluation of the value of forest resources and to support the evaluation works of forest resources.The system has established a complete set of database process,which focuses on solving the problems of complex evaluation algorithm,large workload,parameter selection and statistical difficulties,thus providing accurate information for forest resources value analysis and evaluation.
