Natural forest is a powerful terrestrial ecosystem with complex structure and stable community,which has great biological capacity,rich biodiversity and strong ecological function.and has great strategic significance in the maintenance of freshwater security,climate security,species safety,survival security and homeland security.Therefore,in order to protect the natural forest resources of our country,the state begain to implement the key forestry ecological engineering for Natural forest protection in 1998.Since the implementation of the project,the natural forest resource condition has improved obviously,and the ecological environment has been improved,but in view of the resource growth rate and the requirement of the new period ecological construction,the natural forest protection needs to seek a new development road.In the construction of natural forest protection Project second stage,we need to make a new solution on how to guarantee the upgrading of resources and the provision of quality ecological service.Based on this problem,the National Natural forest Protection Office proposed to explore and compile the "Natural forest Protection Guide" as a guiding document for the protection of natural forest in China in the new period.In view of the problems existing in the process of natural forest protection in China,this paper probes into the theory and technology of natural forest protection in China from large scale range.The main findings of the study are as follows:(1)Since ancient times,China's natural forest resources have been in a state of decline,and after the founding of the country,especially after the implementation of natural forest protection Project,this consumption situation has improved,according to the eighth Forest resources inventory data,China's existing natural forest area of 122 million hectares,accounting for the total area of the National Forest 58%Accumulate 12.296 billion cubic meters,83%of the total accumulation of national forests,mainly in the southwest and northeast China,the Southern collective Forest region also has a large number of distribution;The natural forest mainly arbor forest,an area of 118 million hectares,about 96%of the area of natural forests;from the age group point of view,the area of the young plantation is larger,However,the accumulative ratio was mainly in the near-mature forest,the unit area and volume of each age group were higher than those under the same conditions;from the point of view of dominant tree species(group).natural forest area accounted for more than hall of natural arbor total.and the ratio of accumuilation and volume accounted for the absolute proportion,and The increase of the area and accumulation of natural forests into a gentle state,which is not negligible for the protection and management of natural forest resources in China.(2)This paper studies the problem of natural forest protection and management,and finds that for the protection of natural forest,it mainly includes classified protection in the field of technical practice,which mainly involves three kinds,including the classification of natural forest types,which is mainly based on nature,forest species and qualitative natural forest,The classification of management types in forest managers ' activities and the types of management measures according to the management purpose and type,after research and discussion,three kinds of types have some deviations to the response of the current natural forest protection demand,therefore,in the comprehensive consideration of the present situation of natural forest protection and the planning requirements for natural forest protection After comprehensive analysis,in this paper,according to the nature of natural forest and the two major aspects of forest ecosystem,we choose 3 kinds of indexes,including dominant species(group),natural forest occurrence state(disturbed degree),natural forest occurrence process(succession status),According to the natural arbor of 10 kinds of dominant species(group),the forest conservation type was divided and 67 kinds of natural forest conservation types were mainly based on dominant tree species(group).For the large scale natural forest conservation in China under the denand of new period,it is necessary to pursue the operation of different dominant tree species in the corresponding state according to the nature of natural forest in order to accurately forestry and strictly protect natural forests,and it is also one of the more feasible options in the case of not subverting the type of forest currently divided by dominant function.In addition,it is necessary to undertake the conservation management of natural forests divided by dominant tree species(groups)in order to meet the needs of the future forest resources to adapt to the social structure.(3)The nature of natural forest protection and its implementation protection project is to protect the existing natural forest from being destroyed and to improve the quantity and quality of natural forest as nuch as possible,so as to play a greater role in ecological and economic benefits,so the study of natural forest conservation measures and strategies must take into account the natural forest as the characteristics of Considering the whole cycle of natural forest succession,in this paper,8 kinds of conservation measures and related strategies are formulated for 67 kinds of natural forest conservation types which are divided into 10 kinds of dominant species,and 4 kinds of forest harvesting methods are put forward according to the requirement of natural forest protection and the characteristics of natural forest.The specific situation and classification of natural forest conservation and conservation strategy and forest harvesting method selection and corresponding,completed 67 types of natural forest conservation decision design.(4)In this paper,the conservation scheme of 10 species of natural forests with oak as the dominant species was selected,and 7 kinds of natural forest conservation types with oak as dominant species were obtained,respectively,the relative conservation measures and the cutting operation method were formulated.Quercus has a considerable proportion in the area of natural forest in China,according to the study of the case,it is shown that the natural forest with the dominant species of Quercus is not only common but also different,but in general it should follow the concept of "transformation",aiming at nature deforestation,natural secondary forest,Degraded secondary forest According to the different succession state of forests,combined with the current business needs and objective reality of the"initiation mixed-born" transformation,so as to improve the quality of Quercus natural forest resources.
