The terrain and environment of natural forest areas in China are complex, and it is difficult for ordinary vehieles to enter forest operations, and the level of forestry mechanization is low.The topography of the forest area is mainly slopes, potholes, and stumps such as tree stumps, which are common in the forest area. The operating environment has a higher requirement for the operating performance of the forest vehicle chassis, and the chassis is subjected to both internal and external The static and dynamic loads act on the frame. In addition, the frame needs to deal with the vibration generated by the engine and the extermal excitation of the road surface during the driving process. It is necessary to analyze the static and dynamic performance of the frame through the finite element method.Through the analysis results, the frame is improved to improve the overall performance of the frame and the chassis. This paper analyzes the front and rear frame and articulated mechanism of the original three-degree-of-freedom articulated chassis respectively, simulates the actual load of each part of the frame, and studies the stiffness strength performance of the various parts of the frame at rest using the finite element method.Show the original rear frame structure static performance can not meet the chassis design requirements, and the frame itself is too large.Considering the driving conditions of the chassis,a variable-width wheel leg structure was designed to improve the obstacle-resisting performance of the chassis according to the requirements of chassis passability, and the rear chassis structure of the original chassis was optimized and optimized for its frame stiffness strength requirements. After the rear frame, the static analysis and verification of the static conditions were carried out.The modal analysis and verification of the entire frame were performed. The comparison shows that the optimized frame reduces its own weighty and its statie performance is significantly better than the original frame. In addition, the natural vibration of the optimized frame avoids the frequency range where resonance occurs, showing good dynamic performance.
