Caragana korshinskii Kom.And Salix psammophila are the two main windbreak and sand fixation plants for vegetation restoration in Kubuqi Desert.In recent years,with the deepening of desertification and ecological construction,the area of human planted Caragana korshinskii and Salix psammophila is increasing year by year,which plays an important role in improving the local ecological environment.However,in the past people only paid attention to the cultivation of Caragana korshinskii and salix psammophila,while the regeneration and utilization of the two shrubs were ignored.stumping is a measure of shrub regeneration and rejuvenation.Usually every winter and spring the upper part of the Caragana korshinskii and salix psammophila growing for many years was cut.After cutting the branches were left in place as waste or even burning,which caused resources waste and environmental pollution.The aim of this study is to determine the reasonable time of crop stubble,to gain the enough plant growth and height for windbreak and sand fixation after cutting as well as high feeding quality and energy value,in order to make full use of shrub resources in sand area.In this study,2 years,3 years and 4 years Caragana korshinskii and 4 years Salix psammophila were randomly selected from Kubuqi Sandland.The growth and the nutrient quality and the burning index of the shrub branches were observed and analyzed monthly from April to August.The results show:(1)The germination number and plant height of 2 years,3 years and 4 years Caragana korshinskii were compared after the successive stumping.The number of new shoots at the end of April was the highest and the plant height was the highest.The number of germination branches reached 67,67 and 65 respectively at the end of August,and the average plant height reached 143,120 and 157cm,respectively.Compared with the end of May,the number of new shoots increased by 23,25 and 37,respectively,and the plant height increased by 20,60 and 70 cm.(2)The crude protein(CP)content of 2 years,3 years and 4 years Caragana korshinskii leaves showed that the CP content of 2 years Caragana korshinskii was the highest at the end of May,reaching 15.02%.Compared with 3 years and 4 years Caragana korshinskii,the CP content was 3.52%and 3.56%higher than that of them.The CP content of 3 years and 4 years Caragana korshinskii was the highest at the end of June,reaching 12.68 and 12.61%respectively.However,the CP content of 2 years Caragana korshinskii was 14.79%at the end of June,which was 2.11%and 2.18%higher than that of 3 years and 4 years respectively.(3)The lignin content of Caragana korshinskii was the lowest at 11.0%at the end of June,and the contents were 2.0%and 5.3%lower than that of 3 years and 4 years Caragana korshinskii respectively.%.3 years old and 4 years old Caragana korshinskii lignin content after the end of May the lowest level of crop,10.5%and 10.3%,respectively,lower than the 0.8%Caragana korshinskii 2 years old.1.0%.(4)The data analyze neutral detergent fiber(NDF)and acid detergent fiber(ADF)analysis showed that 2 years old and 3 years after birth,the end June of stumping for 39.28%and 38.92%,respectively.And at the end of June,the ADF of Caragana korshinskii was 39.55%at the end of June,and the difference between the results was flat.3 years after the end of June Stump ADF Caragana korshinskii lowest,37.65%.(5)With the increase of the growth period,the diameter of Caragana korshinskii was thicker,and the CP content of Caragana korshinskii was negatively correlated with ground diameter,while NDF and ADF were positively correlated with ground diameter.(6)2 years of Caragana korshinskii microphylla reached the maximum at the end of June,3362g;3 years Caragana korshinskii korshinskii biomass reached the maximum at the end of August,4369g;4 years lemongrass The biomass reached the maximum at the end of July,at 8415 g.(7)The number of germination and plant height of Salix psammophila were the best at the end of April,and the germination rate was 76,34 and 62 at the end of August,respectively.The number of new shoots increased by 1,5 and 27,compared with that of Salix psammophila after the stumping in May,and the number of new shoots increased by 54,15 and 36 compared with those of Salix psammophila in June.The plant height at the end of April was 223,220 and 207cm,respectively,which was 86,113 and 70 cm higher than that in May.(8)With the delay of stubble time,the lignin content of Salix psammophila decreased steadily,and the lignin content of Salix psammophila was the highest at the end of April,reaching 29.1%.From the end of April,the lignin content decreased at a steady rate,Down to the end of July to reach 21.1%,and then began to rise.(9)At different times,the effect of stubble on Salix psammophila was smaller.At the end of May,the caloric value of Salix psammophila psisson was lower than that of other months at 19243J/kg.By the end of April,the end of June,the end of July and the end of August calorific value difference is small.
