Because of higher environmental protection requirement,government strictly request famers constrain burning straw,so improve harvester chopper and spreader is more important.Current harvester chopper has high cost,manufacturability and serviceability are not fit for local region usage,and spread scope is wider than local header.This paper studies the corn harvester straw chopping and spreading device used in Heilongjiang regional cha racteristics,improve design of chopper and spreader to fit for local region usage.The effect of straw chopping may be related to the dynamic knife rotation speed,and spreader performance impact by blade profile and spreader speed.This study will focus on the following aspects:(1)Design of corn straw crushing device and throwing deviceReferring to the existing harvester grinding and throwing mechanism and target requirements at home and abroad,the corn straw grinding device and throwing device suitab le for harvester are designed,and the combination mode of the movable knife is determined,the rotational speed of the knife roll and the arrangement mode of the movable knife are determined,with emphasis on the design of the movable knife unit and the fixed knife unit,optimize spreader equipment.(2)Study on Physical Characteristics of Corn StrawAccording to field information and calculation,gain material data(stalk height,stalk diameter,density,moisture and friction coefficient)for simulation a nd analyze.(3)FEA for chopper and spreader key component base on ABAQUSThrough the finite element software,the simulation model of the movable knife is established,and the deformation law of the movable knife under different directions of force is emp hatically analyzed to prove chopper knife reliability is acceptable.Analyze model of chopper roller,and the corresponding vibration modes and frequencies of the first six modes are mainly analyzed,which provides proof for the structural design.(4)Study on the Movement Law of Corn Straw in the Process of Chopping and SpreadingBy establishing the physical model of corn straw and using EDEM software to simulate and calculate,obtain the movement of corn straw in the process of operation to prove the str ucture design.(5)Field testImplement field test according to validation and inspection standard.The field test result proves chopper and spreader design compliance of government standard and domestic harvester usage.
