For a long time,although our country has accumulated rich experience in chestnut cultivation technology,but the widespread phenomenon of chestnut is small number of female flowers low yield,etc.In recent years,chestnut demand in the market increased,low yield has become an important factor restricting the development of chestnut industry.In this paper,the main variety of chestnut in Qianxi county,the 7-year old "Yanshanzaofeng",was used as the test material,and the double-factor random block design was adopted to study the effects of different fertilizer and water combination measures on the male and female inflorescence ratio,tree growth and yield and quality of chestnut,so as to provide a basis for rational fertilization and irrigation for chestnut production in Qianxi area.The main conclusions are:1.The interaction effect of water and fertilizer can significantly affect the male and female inflorescence ratio of Chinese chestnut.The maximum male and female inflorescence ratio of Chinese chestnut under high fat and middle water F3W2 treatment was 0.44,4.5 times higher than CK treatment and significantly higher than other treatments.2.Under the treatment of F3W3 with high fertilizer and water content,the annual shoot length and coarseness were the largest from may to July.Under the high fat and high water F3W3 treatment,the coarseness growth was 2.93mm,97.9%higher than the control.The length growth from may to July was 23.14cm,60.2%higher than the minimum length growth.Reasonable combination of water and fertilizer can significantly promote the growth of root weight density,with F3W2 having the highest root weight density,followed by F3W3.High fertilizer and low water treatment can inhibit root weight density.F3W2 treatment had the highest root weight density,larger root length density and smaller root volume density,indicating that F3W2 treatment was conducive to the absorption of nutrients with more thin roots.3.To some extent,the increase of fertilizer application can significantly increase the SPAD value of leaves.With the increase of fertilizer application amount,the specific leaf mass presented a decreasing trend on the whole.The maximum specific leaf mass of the control leaf was 84.22g/m2,and the minimum specific leaf mass of F2W3 was 60.45g/m2,39.3%smaller than CK,indicating that the F2W3 treatment had the best leaf function and was more conducive to the absorption and transformation of nutrients.Proper amount of water will effectively play the role of fertilizer,lack of water will lead to fertilizer can not be used efficiently.The soil nutrient content under F3W2 and F3W3 treatment was the highest.The total contents of nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium in leaves of each treatment unit were the highest under F3W2 treatment,indicating that F3W2 treatment was more conducive to the absorption of nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium in leaves.4.F3W2 treatment had the best stimulation effect,with the yield per plant being 1896.2g/plant,98.2%higher than the control.The contents of chestnut starch and soluble sugar in F3W3 treatment were the highest,13.8%and 57.6%higher than the control group respectively,followed by F3W2.The protein content of F3W3 and F3W2 was the highest among all the treatments,and the protein content of F3W3 was not significantly different from that of F3W2.
