While the poultry industry is progressing steadily, healthy breeding and pollution-free production had become the focus and research direction of modern poultry industry Chitosan-oligosaccharides(COS)can improve animal growth performance, intestinal structure.antioxidant ability and immune ability. It is important to develop and utilize COS and apply them in livestock and poultry production.Clostridium butyricum is a kind of anaerobic beneficial bacteria, which existed in the intestinal tract of animal. It could regulated intestinal flora and improved the intestinal micro-ecological environment. As a feed additive,Clostridium butyricum has significant advantages and application prospects. The purpose of this experiment was to study the effects of dietary supplementation of COS on growth Performance, slaughtering performance, antioxidant activity and intestinal tissue morphology of broilers. To determined the appropriate amount of COS in broiler diet.On this basis, the probiotic effects of dietary supplementation of chitosan oligosaccharides and Clostridium butyricum on broilers were studied to provide reference for the application of COS and Clostridium butyricum in broiler diet formulation. The experiment was divided into two parts. The first part was to explore the effects of djfrerent levels of OOS on growth performance, slaughter performance, intestinal morphology and antioxidant capacity of broilers.A total of 360 male ld old AA broilers were selected and randomly divided into 4 groups with 6 replicates in each group and 15 birds in each replicate. The treatments were divided into control group(feeding basal diet)and 3 experimental groups(added 100 mg/kg,150 mg/kg and 200 mg/kg of COS in basal diet, respectively). The second part was about the effects of dietary supplementation of COS and Clostridium butyricum on growth performance, slaughter performance, intestinal morphology and cecum microorganisms of broilers.2 x 2 two factors experimental design was used.A total of 360 AA broiler chicks of 1 days old were randomly divided into 4 groups, with 6 replicates and each replicate with 15 chickens.Treatments were divided into control group(fed basal diet),chitosan group(fed basal diet+150mg/kg COS),Clostridium butyricum group(fed basal diet+5×108 CFU/kg of Clostridium butyricum)and mixture group(fed basal diet+150mg/kg COS+5×108 CFU/kg Clostridium butyricum). The experimental period was 42 days. The results showed that:1.The body weight of broilers which in 150 mg/kg COS was the highest(P<0.05),and ADG in 150 mg/kg Chitosan-oligosaccharide group was significantly higher than that in 200 mg/kg COS group(P<0.05).Added 200 mg/kg COS significantly decreased ADG in broilers(P<0.05)..Compared with the control group, the dietary supplementation of 200 mg/kg COS reduced the relative weight of jejunum.but the difference not significant(P>0.05).Dietary supplementation of 150 mg/kg COS significantly increased the villus height/crypt depth of the duodenum(P<0.05);COS at different levels had no significant effect on the antioxidant capacity of breast, leg and liver in broilers(P>0.05).2.Compared to the control group, the chicks of three experimental treatments had no significant difference(P<0.05).The alkaline phosphatase activity of broiler serum in the three experimental groups was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, adding COS or Clostridium butyrate alone in the diet could significantly reduce the relative weight of the jejunum(P<0.05).COS alone in diet significantly decreased the crypt depth of duodenum(P<0.05);COS or Clostridium butyricum alone in diet significantly increased the duodenal villus height/crypt depth(P<0.05),and the combined use of COS and Clostridium butyricum significantly increased the duodenal villus height of broilers(P<0.05).Dietary supplementation of COS or Clostridiun butyricum reduced the diversity of cecum microorganisms in 42-day-old broilers, increased the relative abundance of Lactobacillus in cecum microflora, and decreased the relative abundance of Proteobacteria and Faecalibacterium. To sum up,dietary supplementation of COS could improve the growth of broilers and optimized the intestinal morphology, and 150 mg/kg COS perform the best.Adding COS or Clostridium butyricum to the diet could promote the growth and development of broilers and improved the intestinal environment, but the combined use of COS and Clostridium butyricum does not work well...
