This test by 40 copies of maize inbred lines and the test of four types of(M1,D1,ZG78,G38)adopts the design of NC II equipping income 160 combinations,drought stress treatment in spinning stage,determine its shape index,physiological index,after harvest to determine KaoZhong and yield.The drought resistance of various materials was identified,the effective indexes for drought resistance evaluation were screened,and the combining ability of the tested materials was analyzed,so as to create a new line of drought-resistant maize with stable characters and wide adaptability.The results show that:(1)ASI,ear height,ear diameter,hundred-grain weight and yield can be used as general drought resistance indexes for maize inbred lines and combinations.(2)Two years of inbred line drought resistance grade classification results are consistent:inbred line G54 belongs to strong drought resistance maize inbred line;Inbred lines G3,G7,G15,G17,G58,G60,G63,G71 and G79 were 9 inbred lines of medium drought-resistant maize.Inbred lines G33 and G42 were two maize inbred lines with weak drought resistance.(3)Strong drought-resistant combinations were screened and obtained:there were 19 copiesof ZG78×3?ZG78×25?D1×19?M1×38?ZG78×31?D1×38?ZG78×21?ZG78×10?ZG78×19?ZG78×17?ZG78×12?D1×33?D1×18?ZG78×15?D1×21?G38×21?M1×4?ZG78×8 and M1×32 in the mature early group.There were 39 copies of M1×37?G38×3?G38×19?M1×12?M×25?M1×29 D1×29?D1×27?M1×21?D1×7?D1×4?M1×8?D1×24?G38×4?D1×22?ZG78×26?G38×10?D1×10?D1×17?D1×36?M1×6?M1×18?G38×15?G38×18?D1×8?ZG78×27?ZG78×33?ZG78v7?D1×9?G38×16?ZG78×35?ZG78×3?D1×5?M1×16?M1×3?ZG78×40?M1×14?D1×14?ZG78×24?in the precocious group.There were 35 copies of M1×34?G38×1?G38×38?G38×35?G38×25?G38×6?M1×35?M1×17?M1×11?M1×1?M1×40?D1×32?G38×36?D1×32?G38×23?G38×17?M1×9?G38×22?M1×24?M1×15?G38×11?M1×33?G38×39?G38×26?G38×31?G38×9?D1×25?M1×19?M1×10?M1×27?M1×28?G38×14?G38×37?D1×26 and G38×8 in the medium early maturing group.(4)The combinations with positive TCA effect value and stable yield were M1×4?G38×7?G38×25?M1×39?M1×17?G38×6?G38×34?M1×5?G38×38?M1×34?M1×11?G38×30?M1×22?M1×36?G38×23?G38×19?M1×19 and G38×36.(5)The combination and its parents had strong drought resistance,and the combination with stable characters were ZG78×25?M1×38?D1×38?ZG78×34?ZG78×38?M1×25?ZG78×6?D1×34?G38×7?M1×G34?G38×38?G38×25?G38×6?D1×25?G38×34?M1×G7and D1×6.
