Garlic is one of the main economic crops in China.Its planting area and output take first place in the world.However,garlic cultivation is mainly based on labor in China,which will raise many problems such as high labor intensity,high cost and poor efficiency.Due to the increasing of labor costs,even if the planting area is expanding year by year,the income of garlic farmers has not increased significantly.In order to ensure farmers high production and income,the realization of mechanization of garlic production will become a powerful method.According to the agronomic requirements of garlic harvesting,the structure of the garlic combine harvester has been designed and its key functional components has been researched in-depth.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1?The structure of the garlic combine harvester was designed at first.And the mechanical properties of the key components were analyzed.2?The theoretical model of the pull force of garlic is established and the variation law of pull force is studied by analyzing the influence of parameters,such as wrap angle and width of the synchronous belt.Based on theoretical research,the pull performance of the garlic-delivery unit is analyzed by studying the influence of structure parameters on the pull force.3?The theoretical model of the soil breaking unit is established.And the influence of the working parameters such as the angle between the arrow shovel and the ground,the depth of the arrow shovel and the forward speed of the whole machine on the forward resistance of the soil breaking unit is analyzed.Based on the analyses,the curves of each working parameter and the resistance of the soil breaking unit are drawn.The dynamic simulation of soil breaking unit is carried out to simulate the forward resistance of soil breaking unit under different forward velocities,which will provide the data support for structure optimization of key components.4?The effect of material structure size on the maximum stress and deformation of the soil breaking unit chassis and the garlic-delivery unit mounting frame is studied by orthogonal experiment optimization method.The influence degree of each parameter on the strength and stiffness of the chassis and the mounting frame is obtained.Based on the results,the structure optimization of the soil breaking unit and the garlic-delivery unit is completed,which will reduce the weight of component effectively.5?The garlic harvesting machine is manufactured,and its performance has been tested.Based on the test results,the influence of working parameters and environmental factors on the forward resistance of the soil-breaking unit,the degree of influence of each parameter is obtained,which will give reference value for the research of ground-breaking equipment.The experiment was designed based on the garlic-delivery unit to study the effect of the synchronous belt tension on the pull force.Based on the results above,the curve of the change between synchronous belt tension and the pull force is drawn and its change law is analyzed also.
