Blumea balsamifera?L.?DC.is a herbal plant of the genus Blumea belongs to Compositae.It has a long history of medicinal use among Li and Miao ethnic,with the effect of expel wind and remove dampness,heat-clearing and detoxifying.It is mainly used to treat colds,swelling,dysmenorrhea and so on.To our knowledge,most reports show that crude extracts have obvious activity in antibacterial and dephlogisticate,antitumor,and only few compounds from Blumea have been evaluated antiaging and antibacterial effects.In order to obtain a good single plant with antibacterial activity and high flavonoid content,the evaluation index of flavonoid antibacterial activity was determined through the combination of compound separation and purification,structure identification and antibacterial activity evaluation methods,230 germplasm resources from different populations in Guangdong,Guangxi,Guizhou and Hainan were evaluated and screened.The results are as follows:1.51 compounds were isolated from the species,including 19 flavonoids,6 terpenoids,5glycosides,9 chlorogenic acids and 12 others compounds.There are Five flavonoids were isolated for the first time,which were compounds isorhamnetin?4?,pilloin?8?,3,5,3',4'-tetrahydroxy-7-methoxyflavanone?14?,3',5,7-trihydroxy-4'-methoxy flavanon?18?and sakuranetin?19?.The results of antibacterial activity showed that 9 compounds of the flavonoid had different degrees of inhibition on three strains of bacteria,with MIC values of 32-128?g/mL.The inhibitory activity of compound 16 to Staphylococcus aureus was the strongest,and Mic values was 32?g/mL.Based on the sample size and antibacterial activity of the compounds,five flavonoid components were identified as the evaluation indexes of the excellent germplasm resources of Blumea balsamifera,including 5,7,3',3-tetrahydroxy-4'-methoxyflavanone?13?,5,7,3',4'-tetrahydroxy-flavanone?15?,blumeatin?16?,3,3',5-Trihydroxy-4',7-dimethoxy flavanone?17?and sakuranetin?19?.2.Taking the five flavonoid components as the evaluation indexes,230 germplasm resources from different populations in Guangdong,Guangxi,Guizhou and Hainan were studied on the superimposed fingerprint,common characteristic peaks and similarity.In this paper,230germplasm different resources of Blumea from different place were calibrated.230 germplasm resources from different sources were determined.There were 27 common peaks in Guangdong,29 common peaks in Guangxi,35 common peaks in Guizhou and 32 common peaks in Hainan.The populations with rich chemical components and high content of effective components have the possibility of selecting excellent varieties.There are significant differences in the chemical components between the populations of Blumea balsamifera in Guizhou and Hainan,which provides the possibility for the selection of excellent germplasm.3.At the same time,the contents of five components were determined.The results showed that 5,7,3',3-tetrahydroxy-4'-methoxyflavanone had a higher content,ranging from 0.94 to 16.31mg.g-1.5,7,3',4'-tetrahydroxy flavanone ranged from 0.1 to 4.72 mg.g-1.The content of3,3',5-Trihydroxy-4',7-dimethoxy flavanone ranged from 0.45 to 3.54 mg.g-1.The content of blumeatin ranged from 0.35 to 3.61 mg.g-1.The content of sakuranetin was low,ranging from0.01 to 0.23 mg.g-1.The stability of chemical components between populations of Blumea balsamifera in Guizhou and Hainan is poor,and the chemical components are quite different,which also provides the possibility for the selection of excellent germplasm.The populations with rich chemical components and high content of effective components have the possibility of selecting excellent varieties.The common peaks of Blumea fragrance resources was evaluated and the contents of five target components were determined.4.These 14 germplasm resources have the potential of individual plant breeding.The results showed that the content of five dihydroflavones in these three plants?F2-8,G3-5 and G4-6?belonged to the high content group.Ten individual plants?B3-5,A5-1,A5-2,F2-5,G2-1,G2-2,G2-5,G3-2,G3-3,G4-1 and G4-4?,The contents of 5,7,3',3-tetrahydroxy-4'-methoxy flavanone,5,7,3',4'-tetrahydroxy flavanone,3,3',5-Trihydroxy-4',7-dimethoxy flavanone and blumeatin belonged to the high-content group,while sakuranetin belonged to the medium content group.One plant?F2-5?,compounds 5,7,3',4'-tetrahydroxyflavanone,3,3',5-Trihydroxy-4',7-dimethoxy flavanone,blumeatin and sakuranetin belonged to the high-content group,while5,7,3',3-tetrahydroxy-4'-methoxyflavanone belonged to the medium content group.
