Rana hanluica(Hanlui Brown Frog),a newly discovered species of Rana,is widely distributed in Hunan Province and some other southern provinces.It is popularly used among consumers delicious meat.In recent years,R.hanluica have been artificially indiscriminately killed,resulting in a decreasing number of wild populations.Some mountain farmers have begun to carry out experimental artificial breeding,but their biological characteristics are not well understood,and artificial breeding techniques are lacking.By artificial breeding test observation and study of R.hanluica,at aquaculture experimental base the in Xuefeng mountain since October 2017 to October 2018,R.hanluica cultured under the condition of growth and development has carried on the preliminary analysis,and introduces the technique of artificial breeding process,in order to further understand the biological characteristics of R.hanluica,standardize and guide the frog farmed,provide theoretical basis for the protection of species.The main results are as follows:Put forward specific design and requirement to farm construction plan.The comparative test results of the three farms showed that the optimal altitude range for the farms was 500~800 meters,and a good forest vegetation environment should be built around the farms.In accordance with the actual situation of aquaculture,the site construction mode of three pools integrating spawning,hatching and tadpole aquaculture is adopted,and the inner and outer layers of the aquaculture farm are enclosed to prevent the invasion and escape of enemy pests.In the aquaculture pond,the aquaculture environment designed to create vegetation is adopted.The technical route and process of artificial aquaculture are introduced.The techniques of tadpole breeding density,feed selection,feeding time and method,water temperature control,disease prevention and control during tadpole period and daily management were expounded.The tadpoles were fed with vegetable bait before overwintering and animal bait after overwintering.Low temperature to reduce the amount of bait,through the control of the tadpole feeding pool water depth to adjust the water temperature to ensure the safety of winter,frozen attention to break the ice prevention to prevent hypoxia.Larval larva,commercial frog breeding and food domestication were studied.By laying straw or branches and leaves to assist the metamorphosis of young frogs to land,2 years old yellow mealworm was used as the opening bait of young frogs.Adult frogs hide under dead branches and leaves or loose soil surface in the breeding pond during hibernation,and can survive through winter safely by increasing the thickness of dead grass and leaves.The death of young frogs was discussed and the causes were analyzed.The law of growth and development was preliminarily studied.The body weight of the cultivated winter dew forest frog showed the growth characteristic of "slow-fast-slow".The change trend of leg length and body length was consistent with that of body weight.Average weight of the first-instar is 16.72=1=3.87 g.However,there are great differences in body weight and body size,and the later research will focus on technologies such as graded feeding and bait domestication.There was a significant correlation between body weight and head width,shin length,leg length and body length.The richness of artificial and natural frog populations was compared and analyzed.Under the condition of artificial breeding,the first age of cold dew forest frog in artificial breeding is larger than that of wild frog of the same age,and there is no significant difference with the wild second age and above.The results showed that the individual character index of artificial breeding population was better than that of natural population,and artificial breeding could improve the economic benefit of breedingThe development concept of circular agriculture was used to explore the cultivation mode of frog and vegetable or fruit from the aspects of the selection of vegetable or fruit varieties,the construction of compound breeding farm and the supply of bait,which provided a reference for different artificial cultivation modes of frog.
