Comparative Research On Industrial Development And Land Use Efficiency Of Main Tomato Production Areas In Guangxi And Shandong

China is the world's largest tomato producing region,with an annual tomato planting area of over 12.5 million mu each year.With the variations in the scale of the tomato industry,the planting area is enlarged without restriction in some places with the single planting structure,and poor benefit per unit area.Through field visit and questionnaire survey to Tianzhou Town,Naman Town and Baiyu Town of Tianyang County,Daotian Town,Tianliu Town and Gucheng Street in Shouguang City,and access to statistical yearbooks etc to obtain data on tomato planting production and land use status.Using Comparative Analysis and Analytic Hierarchy Process to investigative the development characteristics of tomato planting industry in the two regions.Study on the evaluation of land intensification of tomato planting industry by comparing and analyzing the cost-benefit of tomato in two places.This research is based on the status of tomato planting industry in two major tomato producing areas,which are Tianyang County,Guangxi,and Shouguang City,Shandong Province.It analyzes the efficiency of input and utilization of agricultural resource elements in the process of tomato planting production in two regions,and explores the effective approach in order to reduce the cost and improve the planting efficiency of tomato planting industry.Exploring the effective approach to reduce the cost and improve the planting efficiency of tomato planting industry.It focuses on the degree of input,utilization and utilization profit to appraise the land utilization efficiency of tomato planting industry,and improving the intensive utilization level of tomato planting land,in order to promote the countermeasyres and advises for sustainable development of tomato industry in the two regions.The results indicated that the total production cost per mu in Tianyang County is 6056.29 yuan,and that in Shouguang City is 9670.46 yuan.The land use intensification degree of tomato in Tianyang County is 0.5826,the land use intensification of facility tomato in Shouguang City is 0.9513.The level of land intensification in Shouguang City is obviously higher than that in Tianyang County.Shouguang City's profitability and land intensification of facility tomatoes were significantly higher than those of open field tomatoes due to the improvement of the information system of science and technology services and the high degree of specialization of farmers.However,the cost of maintenance and construction of facilities in greenhouses and the cost of tomato production in Shouguang City are relatively high,resulting in a lower cost-benefit ratio of facility tomatoes than that of Tianyang County.Based on current status of tomato planting and land use in the two places,it puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for tomato planting development in two regions.The research conclusion can provide reference for the following aspects:improving the production efficiency of tomatoes in different production methods,increasing production,increasing income,improving quality and increasing efficiency for producers.
