In recent years,the planting area and output of Radix Peucedani in China have increased year by year,Among them,the planting area and output of Ningguo City in Anhui Province ranks the highest in the country.However,Ningguo City is located in hilly and mountainous areas.The natural conditions are poor,the plots are small and scattered,the planting structure is complex,and there are many varieties.The intercropping of grain and cash crops is widespread,which seriously restricts the development of agricultural mechanization.With the improvement of people's living standards,the demand for Radix Peucedani is also increasing.The mechanization of the production process of Radix Peucedani is low,which has always restricted the large-scale development of Radix Peucedani.Therefore,it is of great significance to develop a planter that meets the requirements of Radix Peucedani seeding instead of manual spreading and artificial seeding,and to improve the yield of Radix Peucedani,and to realize the mechanization of the production of Radix Peucedani.Based on the requirements of domestic and foreign planters and agronomical requirements,this paper designed a planter suitable for the requirements of Radix Peucedani agronomy.The main research work and results completed are summarized as follows:(1)Check the relevant literature and field research,and clarify the general technical principles of the Radix Peucedani seeder,the technical requirements of the Radix Peucedani planting,including the agronomic requirements of the Radix Peucedani planting and the mechanical technical requirements of the Radix Peucedani planting,and the structure of the Radix Peucedani seeder.The design provides a theoretical basis,and determines the overall structural plan,working principle and transmission scheme of the Radix Peucedani seeder.(2)Review the relevant literatures on the study of the physical properties of various crops,determine the physical properties of the seeds of the arborvitae and calibrate the physical properties of the seeds of the arborvitae based on EDEM simulation.(3)Previously,Radix Peucedani seeds were used as research objects.Based on EDEM,the discrete element simulation of the working process of the seed metering machine combined with the central combination design test and the effect surface method to predict the optimal combination of parameters.Carry out a single seed meter bench test to verify the displacement,seeding uniformity coefficient of variation,and seed breakage rate;perform three rower bench performance tests,and determine the consistency coefficient and total displacement stability of each row.The coefficient of variation was tested and the test results showed that all indicators met the national technical standards.(4)The key components of the Radix Peucedani seeder,the ditching device,the covering device,the seed box and the depth-limiting components were designed.The force and static analysis of the opener were carried out.According to the static analysis,the opener was obtained.The structural design meets the design requirements.The assembly and prototype of the former Radix Peucedani seeder were tested.(5)The field experiment was carried out on the Radix Peucedani seeder.The variation coefficient of uniformity of each row,the coefficient of variation of total displacement stability,the damage rate and the uniformity of seeding were used as test evaluation indicators.All the indicators met the national technical standards.Statistics on the emergence of eucalyptus seedlings after field trials were carried out,and the emergence of seedlings was good.
