The purpose of this experiment was to investigate the effects of pancreatin on growth performance, slaughter performance, endogenous digestive enzyme activity and mRNA expression of related genes of broilers,600 healthy AA broilers aged 1 day were randomly divided into A,B,C,D and E groups, with 6 replicates in each group and 20 chickens per replicate.Control group A was fed a normal protein level diet.Group B and C,respectively,on the basis of group A added 150 g/t protease,150 g/t pancreatin.Group D and E,the crude protein level were reduced by 1 percentage point on the basis of group A,and 150 g/t,300 g/t of pancreatin were added respectively. The experiment periods were 42days,divided into the early stage(1-21 days)and the late stage(22-42days).Growth performance results:Compared with the control group, adding 150 g/t pancreatin to normal protein level diet significantly improved the ADG in the late period(P<0.05),and significantly reduced the F/G of broilers in late and whole stages(P<0.05).Adding 150 g/t protease to normal protein level diet significantly increased the ADG of the early stage, the late stage and the whole stage, and significantly increased 42 d BW,the ADFI of the early stage(P<0.05),and significantly reduced the F/G of the whole phase(P<0.05).Compared with the normal protein group, the addition of 150 g/t pancreatin to low-protein diet can significantly increase the ADG and ADFI of broilers in the whole phase(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the addition of 300 g/t pancreatin and the normal protein group(P>0.05).Slaughter performance results:Compared with the control group, adding 150 g/t protease or 150 g/t pancreatin to normal protein level diet significantly increased the broiler slaughter rate, chest muscle rate, and leg muscle rate(P<0.05),and had no significant effect on other slaughter performance indexes(P>0.05),there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Adding pancreatin to low-protein diet significantly increased the slaughter rate and leg muscle rate of broilers(P<0.05).but had no significant effect on other slaughter performance indexes(P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Endogenous digestive enzyme activity:Compared with the control group.Adding 150 g/t protease or 150 g/t pancreatin to normal protein level diet significantly increased the activity of pancreatic and duodenal amylase, trypsin and jejunal trypsin(P<0.05).Adding pancreatin to low-protein diets had no significant effect on the activity of amylase, lipase, and trypsin in pancreas, duodenal and jejunal chyme.Digestive enzyme gene expression:Compared with the control group, adding 150 g/t pancreatin to normal protein level diet significantly increased the expression level of pancreatic amylase gene and trypsin gene mRNA(P<0.05).Adding 150 g/t protease to normal protein level diet significantly increased the expression level of pancreatic trypsin gene mRNA(P<0.05).Adding 150 g/t pancreatin to low-protein diet significantly increased the expression of pancreatic trypsin gene mRNA(P<0.05).Adding 300 g/t pancreatin to low-protein diet significantly decreased the expression level of pancreatic trypsin gene mRNA.The results showed that adding pancreatin to normal protein level diet can increase feed conversion rate and promote growth of broilers in late stage, improve slaughter performance, increase endogenous digestive enzyme activity and pancreatic digestive enzyme gene mRNA expression level, which had the same effect as the addition of protease. The addition of pancreatin to low-protein diets can achieve the effect of feeding a normal protein level diet.Adding 150 g/t pancreatin, the feeding effect was better than that of normal protein level diet and increased pancreatic trypsin gene mRNA expression, but the addition of 300 g/t pancreatin reduced pancreatic trypsin gene mRNA expression.
