Comparative Advantage Analysis And Development Strategy Research Of Pig Production In Sichuan Province

Sichuan is China's largest pig production province.In recent years,the development of sichuan pig production continue to maintain a certain speed,good in swine system construction,the pig breeding and so on enterprise brand to create a breakthrough,but as the henan,hunan,hubei,shandong,guangdong and other places the strong rise of production of live pigs,pig in sichuan province status is facing a great challenge.Based on this,sichuan province puts forward the development strategy of revitalizing sichuan pigs and realizing the transformation from a big pig province to a strong pig province.However,in order to revitalize sichuan pigs and ensure the leading position of sichuan pigs,it is necessary to clarify the advantages and disadvantages of sichuan pig production and constantly improve the comparative advantages of sichuan pig production.Therefore,based on the theory of comparative advantage,this paper calculates and analyzes the comparative advantage of pig production in sichuan province,so as to clarify the advantages and disadvantages of pig production in sichuan province,and clarify the development strategy of pig industry in sichuan province,and put forward the decisionmaking reference for sichuan province to transform from a big pig province to a strong pig province.Specifically,based on defining the core concepts of pig production and comparative advantage,this study analyzed the current situation and overall characteristics of pig production in sichuan from a static and dynamic perspective,and compared them with other regions.Secondly,the comprehensive comparative advantage index is used to calculate and analyze the pig production scale advantage,efficiency advantage,benefit advantage and comprehensive comparative advantage in sichuan province,and put forward corresponding development Suggestions.The main research conclusions of this paper are as follows :(1)from 2012 to 2016,the pig production in sichuan showed a trend of fluctuation and reduction,and the gap with other provinces was gradually narrowing,and the traditional advantages were gradually weakened.(2)the scale of pig production in sichuan has a comparative advantage,but the scale is not strong,and there has been a certain decline in recent years.Compared with2012,the advantage index of pig production scale in 2016 decreased to 1.13,down by 0.01.(3)the production efficiency of pigs in sichuan has a comparative advantage,but it is not large compared with other provinces and shows a decreasing trend.The efficiency comparative advantage index ranks 10 th in China,but it is inconsistent with sichuan porkproduction ranking first in China.Sichuan pig production efficiency advantage index showed a decreasing trend from 2012 to 2016.(4)the production benefit of pigs in sichuan has a comparative advantage,but it is not strong and shows a fluctuating downward trend.Sichuan's efficiency comparative advantage index showed a fluctuating downward trend from 2012 to 2016.Among them,sichuan's pig production efficiency advantage decreased the most from 2015 to 2016,from 1.21 to 1.09.(5)pig production in sichuan still has comprehensive comparative advantages on the whole.The average value of the comprehensive comparative advantage index of sichuan province from 2012 to 2016 is1.148,ranking 11 th in China,higher than the national average,but at a disadvantage compared with other big pig provinces.Based on the above research conclusions,this paper puts forward the following policy Suggestions :(1)optimize the regional layout and maintain the traditional advantages of pig production.Give full consideration to the resource advantages of various regions in sichuan,promote the scientific planning and distribution of pig production,establish pig production advantage areas,and play a leading role in demonstration.(2)guide the largescale construction of pig production and enhance industrial competitiveness.We will guide in a scientific way the transformation of free-range pig farmers into large-scale pig farms,promote standardized demonstration construction of pig farms,and accelerate industrial transformation and upgrading and enhance their competitiveness.(3)accelerate the spread of advanced breeding technology and improve pig production efficiency.Make full use of advanced science and technology to promote the production and quality of pigs in sichuan to meet the market demand for the quantity and quality of pork.(4)promote the systematic construction of pig production and improve the economic benefits of pig production.We will actively promote the new mode of modern organized pig breeding and improve the level of organized pig production in sichuan to further improve economic benefits.(5)improve the comprehensive service management level of the government and give play to the regional advantages of pig production.On the basis of giving full play to the traditional advantages of pig production in sichuan province,government departments should increase financial support to different production links and improve the construction of supporting service system.
