Study On Influencing Factors Of Rapeseed Production

Since the cancellation of the temporary purchase and storage policy of rapeseed in2015,the market price of rapeseed has declined sharply due to the absence of the protection of purchase price.Rapeseed farmers have switched to other crops to ensure the income from cultivated land,resulting in the reduction of the planting area of rapeseed across the country and the decline of rapeseed output.At the same time,due to the impact of the global COVID-19 epidemic since 2020,the supply of imported oil is tight,and the uncertainties of rapeseed import are increasing.As a result,both domestic supply and foreign import of rapeseed are in short supply.This paper mainly analyzes the influencing factors of rapeseed production in recent years,seeks the factors that contribute to the improvement of rapeseed yield,and puts forward relevant policy suggestions for the long-term stable supply of rapeseed in China to a certain extent.This paper first summarizes and reviews the relevant literatures at home and abroad,at the same time discusses the related concepts and theoretical basis of influencing factors of rapeseed production,and puts forward the innovation and deficiency of this paper.Secondly this paper collected in Hubei,Hunan and Sichuan province rapeseed related data in 1990-2020,using descriptive statistical method to three provinces of rapeseed yield and planting area,yield per unit area changes made detailed description,at the same time to evaluate the comparative advantages of the cities of three provinces rapeseed measure and summarized;The final use of Hubei,Hunan and Sichuan three province using the unbalanced panel data of the rapeseed planting area,effective irrigation area,rural electricity consumption,rapeseed machinery using power,fertilizer,pesticides,rape the affected area,the 8 kinds of rape planting labor factors as explanatory variables,is rapeseed production as explained variable,Stata software was used for least square regression calculation,and the influencing factors of rapeseed yield were obtained.The results showed that :(1)Huangshi,Yichang,Ezhou,Huanggang and Tianmen were the most advantageous cities in rapeseed production among all the cities in Hubei province;Among the cities and states in Hunan Province,Hengyang,Changde and Yiyang are the most advantageous cities in rapeseed production.Among the cities and states in Sichuan province,Deyang,Mianyang,Suining,Dazhou,Bazhong and Ziyang.(2)through the calculation of influencing factors on rapeseed production,it is concluded that factors which influence the production of rapeseed are rapeseed planting area,applying fertilizer content and the affected area,including rapeseed planting area,fertilizer seems to be explained variable is positive correlation between rapeseed production,the affected area is interpreted with the size of the variable is negative correlation relationship between rapeseed production,Other explanatory variables are not significantly correlated with the explained variables;(3)At the end of the paper,the conclusions were summarized,and the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions were put forward according to the conclusions,including ensuring the cultivated area and quality of rape,rational application of chemical fertilizers and pesticides,establishing planting risk prevention mechanism,breeding new varieties,improving the efficiency of technical progress and other measures.
