In order to improve utilization of Grateloupia as food and aim for providing imformation to its process and aquaculture,an investigation were carried on to research growing condition,species,biomass of Grateloupia on intertidal zone and floating raft of Dapeng Shenzhen,Nanao Shantou and Donghsan Fujian once per month from December2017 to April 2018,and mouthfeel of different species,incubation of superior edible species were also investigated.1.Growth environment investigationDuring investigation,temperature of sea water in Shenzhen,Shantou and Dongshan is 18.7-22.5°C.Water velocity in Shantou sea area is similar to Shenzhen and it is about3.936.95 cm·s-1.Water velocity in Dongshan sea area is higher than in the other two sea area,and the maximum water velocity reaches 100.37 cm·s-1.In these three sea areas,content of NH4+was the highest in March and it was 14.64umol·L-1 in Dongshan,13.47umol·L-1 in Shantou and 13.09umol·L-11 in Shenzhen.The highest content of NO3-in these three sea areas can reach 35.08 umol·L-1.Content of NO2is highest in January and lowest in April.Ccontent of PO4 3-in these three sea areas is highest in January and March,and it is lowest in February and April.2.Species of Grateloupia9 species of Grateloupia were identified by morphology,texture,size,holdfast,section and rbcl sequence analysis of thalli.It is G.lanceolata,G.turuturu,G.taiwanensis,G.carnosa,G.livida,G.haimensis,G.prolongata,G.sparsa and G.setchellia.There are 6species of Grateloupia on the floating raft in Shenzhen.Species of Grateloupia on floating raft in Shantou is samila to the species in Dongshan which there are 8 species.For intertidal zone,there are 6 species of Grateloupia in Shenzhen,3 species in Shantou and 5 species in Dongshan.3.BiomassGrateloupia in the intertidal zone appeared on February and disappeared on May.In Shenzhen intertidal zone,dominant species of Grateloupia is G.livida and its biomass reach highest in March which is 9.6 g.m-2.In intertidal zone,Dominant species of Grateloupia in Shantou and in Dongshan is G.turuturu and in April its biomass reach highest which is 8.14 g.m-2 and 7.28 g.m-22 in these two sea respectively.Biomass of Grateloupia on Shenzhen floating raft is too little to be caculated.Dominant species of Grateloupia on floating raft in Shantou and Dongshan are G.turuturu and G.lanceolata.Biomass of G.lanceolata on floating raft in Dongshan is highest,which is 371.12 g·m-1,4.Mouthfeel investigationMouthfeel of G.turuturu and G.Prolongata are the worst while G.lanceolata and G.livida are the best.G.lanceolata has large amount of biomass,large size and a good mouthfeel.Therefore It is an excellent species worthy to process into marine vegetables.5.Effects of water velocity,temperature and light on the growth of G.lanceolata seedlingsG.lanceolata seedlings incubated in different water velocity(0,3 cm.s-1,7 cm.s-1,10cm.s-1)for 75 days.The results showed that the water velocity had a significant effect on the growth of G.lanceolata seedlings.The growth of G.lanceolata seedlings were faster in 7 cm·s-110cm s-1 than in 03cm s-1.G.lanceolata seedlings incubated in different temperature?12?,18?,24?,30??,and different light intensity(30?mol photons m-2 s-1,80?mol photons m-2 s-1)for40days.The results showed that temperature and light intensity had a significant effect on the growth of G.lanceolata seedlings.The optimal temperature and light intensity for growth of the seedlings were 18?and 80?mol photons m-2 s-1.6.Effects of salinity and nutrients on growth of G.lanceolata seedlingsG.lanceolata seedlings incubated in different nutrients for 40days.The results showed that seedlings grew faster in the water with adding NaNO3??117.6 umol·L-1,KH2PO4(7.4 umol·L-1)and FeC6H5O7(0.4 umol·L-1)than adding only NaNO3 or adding NaNO3 and KH2PO4.G.lanceolata seedlings incubating in salinity of 30 suddenly changed to incubate in different salinity?6,14,22,30,40?for 20 days.The results showed that the seedlings in salinity of 6 was negative growth while it grew normaly in the other sanility and there were not significant differece in growth rate of the seedlings among these sanility.The seedlings incubating in salinity of 14 for 20days change to incubate in salinity of 6.The resulte show the seedlings grew normaly in salinity of 6.7.Preservation of germplasmIncubating spores,thalli and holdfast of G.lanceolata in different condition to investigate its survival.The result showed that spores incubating under ourdoor could survival for one year and its survival rate was 0.56%.The survival rate of the holdfast was 80%under 12?and light intensity of 30?mol photons m-2 s-1 for one year.Under temperature of 12?and light intensity of 5?mol photons m-22 s-130?mol photons m-22 s-1,the survival rate of the thalli was lower than the holdfast.Incubating under ourdoor,the thalli and holdfast could survival for one year and its survival rate was 90%.
