Polyethylene is one of the most used materials in the current fishery.During the fishing operation,the fishing gear material will directly affect the performance of the fishing gear and affect the output of the catch.The mechanical properties,creep properties and anti-aging properties of the material directly affect the life of the fishing gear.Therefore,the production of fishing gear should not only pay attention to the design of fishing gear,but also the choice of fishing gear materials should keep pace with the times.Graphene has been highly concerned by the material science community due to its high tensile modulus and strength,and its large specific surface area,light weight,high thermal conductivity and high electrical conductivity.Therefore,graphene/polymer composites have Good application prospects.However,in the field of fishery,graphene modified rope net materials have few research and applications.In this thesis,the modified monofilament and its fishing net were prepared by melt spinning of graphene and polyethylene materials,and its thermal properties,mechanical properties,creep properties,anti-aging properties and hydrodynamic properties were studied.The results are as follows:(1)The ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene(UHMWPE)/graphene(GR)nanocomposite fiber was prepared by melt spinning method.The effect of GR content on the structure,thermal properties,mechanical properties and creep properties of UHMWPE fiber was studied.The results show that GR is mainly dispersed in the nano-scale of UHMWPE fiber matrix.When GR content is 1‰ and 3‰,GR is uniformly dispersed in UHMWPE fiber group.UHMWPE/GR nanocomposite fiber is compared with pure UHMWPE fiber.Both the breaking strength and the nodule breaking strength are significantly improved,while the creep rate is decreased.The analysis of dynamic mechanical properties showed that the interaction between nanoparticles and polyethylene segments in UHMWPE/GR fibers increased,and the amorphous regions in the vicinity of the crystal regions increased,and the ?-transition peaks gradually increased and broadened.The introduction of graphene by nano-modification technology can significantly improve the mechanical properties and creep resistance of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers,and provide a theoretical basis for the realization of high performance of fishery materials.(2)The effect of the introduction of GR on the anti-aging properties of UHMWPE fiber was studied by UV aging test.Infrared analysis showed that the carbonyl index increase of UHMWPE/GR decreased from 82% to 63% compared with pure UHMWPE fiber.From the results of mechanical properties,the strength retention of UHMWPE and UHMWPE/GR composite fiber samples was 33.6% and 37.1% respectively after UV aging test.UHMWPE/GR composite fiber has better aging resistance.The results show that the introduction of graphene into UHMWPE fiber can significantly improve the anti-aging performance of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber.(3)UHMWPE fiber and UHMWPE/GR-3‰ nanocomposite fiber were used as the base to prepare a fishing net(60tex×2×3-25mm).The mechanical properties of UHMWPE fishing net before and after modification and the hydrodynamic performance of the mesh were studied..The results show that the water resistance of UHMWPE/GR composite fiber mesh is lower than that of pure UHMWPE mesh,and the mechanical properties of GR modified fishing net have also been significantly improved.(4)Preparation of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene,high-density polyethylene and GR blend fiber(UHMWPE/HDPE/GR)by melt spinning method.The structure,thermal properties,mechanical properties and creep of UHMWPE/HDPE fiber were studied.The impact of variable performance.The results show that the dispersion of GR in the UHMWPE/HDPE fiber matrix is substantially uniform.Compared with pure UHMWPE/HDPE fiber,the introduction of appropriate content of graphene can greatly improve its breaking strength,knot breaking strength and creep resistance,but when the graphene content increases to more than 1%,agglomeration may occur.Deterioration in breaking strength and creep resistance.In addition,the addition of graphene can effectively increase the storage modulus of UHMWPE/HDPE fiber,which is manifested by an increase in fiber rigidity and an increase in mechanical properties.
