With the escalation of marine pollution and overfishing,the existing fisheries are facing an increasingly urgent crisis.As one of the important production models for future marine fisheries,marine pasture construction plays a powerful role in the restoration of marine ecological environment,the conservation of fishery resources and the promotion of tourism industry.Artificial reefs are the main form of marine pasture construction at present,through the application of different reef structures and materials,to achieve the function of multiplying and attracting various marine organisms,improving the marine ecological environment and restoring fishery resources.As an offshore project,the rationality of artificial reef site selection directly affects its function.Reasonable and suitable site selection can bring unexpected effects to the reef.The site selection of Artificial Reef based on habitat index model and ecological suitability assessment based on analytic hierarchy process has been applied to the site selection of artificial reef in Rudong County for the first time.Because of the soft sediment of Rudong Sea,result of site selection is greatly affected by the type of sediment.Therefore,this paper used the habitat index model to evaluate artificial reefs site selection,quickly and accurately excludes the unsuitable reef areas,and improves the site selection efficiency.In the ecological suitability evaluation of site selection,this paper adopts the analytic hierarchy process(AHP),which is a relatively mature method.Twelve sub-criteria and three first-level criteria are selected to evaluate the results of site selection in order to select the most suitable reef-building sea area in Rudong County.By taking Rudong County as an example to evaluate ecological suitability based on AHP,our conclusions as followed:(1)Ecological suitability evaluation of site selection is a complex task involving multiple interdisciplinary disciplines such as marine science,geology,biological sciences,sociology and so on.In the actual process of evaluation,it is necessary to have a full understanding of the general situation of the research area to ensure the reasonable and effective of the site selection results.(2)The ecological suitability evaluation of artificial reef site selection in Rudong County is studied in this paper.The habitat index model is used to select the site of artificial reef firstly,and then the analytic hierarchy process is used to evaluate the ecological suitability of the site selection results.The study combines the high-efficiency and easy-to-understand of the Habitat Index Model and the qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP),which improves the efficiency of site selection and ensures the rationality of site ecological suitability evaluation.(3)This paper took Rudong County as an example to study the evaluation of artificial reef site selection,and selected the most reasonable 49.32 km2 reef-building sea area from 5635km2.In the evaluation of site selection,the selected sea area was divided into 20 small sea areas for research.Four more suitable sea areas,1,2,10 and 11,were obtained from the HSI site selection method,and then one most suitable reef-building sea area was obtained from the AHP ecological suitability evaluation of site selection.
