Study On The Sustainable Development Path Of Modern Fishery Economy In Maoming

Maoming is located in the central part of the coastal area of western Guangdong,the middle reaches of Jianjiang River.The natural conditions for the development of fishery production in Maoming are unique.It is one of the largest markets for aquatic products in Guangdong Province and has the reputation of “China's tilapia capital”.Over the past forty years of reform and opening up,Maoming has developed rapidly in fishery production and formed a fishery development strategy with Maoming characteristics,which is the basis for the sustainable development of fisheries.Under the new situation,the decline of fishery resources that overfishing lead to and the deterioration of ecological environment caused by the aggravation of pollution,facing the realistic problems existing in the development of fishery in Maoming,how to proceed from the reality,deeply analyze the main problems faced by the sustainable development of fishery economy in Maoming,accurately find out the root causes,firmly grasp the characteristics of the times,and adopt active and effective countermeasures Policies to achieve sustainable and healthy development of fisheries is an important issue that needs to be solved at present.The basic idea of this paper is to start with the sustainable development of fishery economy,and through the analysis of the development status of modern fishery in Maoming in aquaculture,fishing,aquatic products processing,leisure fishery,fishing port construction and fishermen's life,we can conclude that there are some problems in the development of fishery economy in Maoming,such as the need to optimize the industrial structure,the increasing pressure on fishery resources and environment,the low level of fishery economy development,the backward level of fishery science and technology and the inadequacy of fishermen's continuous income increase,etc.At the same time,on the basis of drawing lessons from the experience of developed countries such as the United States,Japan and Norway in the development of fishery economy,combining with the new environment faced by Maoming's fishery economic development in the new era,the sustainable development path of Maoming's fishery economy is put forward.This path starts with extending the fishery industry chain,optimizing the fishery industry structure,consolidating the foundation of substitute fishery,strengthening the economic construction of fishing ports and vigorously developing recreational fisheries.By constructing a modern fishery industry system suitable for Maoming's development,the new momentum of Maoming's fishery development can be fostered and the process of Maoming's fishery modernization can be accelerated.In the aspect of public policy of modern fishery economy,we should increase policy support for fishery development,improve and perfect social service system,broaden fishermen's Income-increasing channels,improve fishermen's income level,increase fishery financial support,and reduce the impact of fishery risk on fishermen.
