In this paper, the effects of wheat shorts addition level on meat quality, growth performance, digestive physiology and blood biochemical parameters of meat rabbit were studied.Using a single factor randomized trial design, five levels of wheat shorts addition(0,3%,6%,9%,12%)were set under conditions of equal energy and other protein to determine the processing performance of pellet feed.At the same time, select 100 rabbits with similar age and weight, good health, and half of the male and female, randomly divided into 5 groups,4 replicates in each group,5 rabbits in each replicate, for feeding experiment,pre-feeding period 7 days, the official period is 35 days. After the feeding experiment, one rabbit in each group was selected for slaughter sampling and the relevant indicators were determined. The research results are as follows:(1)Processing quality of pellet feed: When the amount of wheat shorts in the meat rabbit pellets reaches 9%,the hardness of the pellets can be significantly improved(P<0.05),and the powder content of the pellet feed is significantly reduced. And chalking rate(P<0.05).(2)Growth performance and slaughter rate: adding wheat shorts to pellet feed did not significantly affect the growth performance of meat rabbits(P>0.05),but with the increase of wheat flour addition, the feed intake of meat rabbits Both the ratio of materials and materials increased. When the amount of wheat shorts added was 6%,the total net slaughter rate of meat rabbits could be significantly improved(P<0.05).(3)Blood immunization and biochemical indicators: The addition of wheat shorts to pelleted feed did not significantly affect blood immune index,low-density lipoprotein and urea nitrogen in meat rabbits(P>0.05),but it had significant effects on other blood biochemical indicators(P<0.05).(4)Digestive physiology and cecal environment: Adding wheat shorts to pelleted feed does not have a significant effect on duodenal villus height and crypt depth in meat rabbits(P>0.05),but when the addition amount is 6% When you can significantly increase the V / C value. At the same time, the effect of adding wheat shorts on the cecal environment of meat rabbits was not significant(P>0.05).In summary, the optimum ratio of wheat shorts in the meat rabbit pellet feed in this test is 6%~9%.
