Lily(Lilium)is the perennial bulb herb,which belongs to the Lilium of Liliaceae.China is the distribution center of lily plant and the Sichuan ares has about one half of wild lily resources.However,the wild lily resources in China have not been fully applicated.Therefore,on the basis of investigating and collecting wild lily resources parts of Sichuan,the phenolic compounds and antioxidant activity were determinated some lily bulb extracts,and the analysis of phenolics divergences metabolites qualitative quantitative of three kinds of lily,which is to explore the differences between the metabolic substances of edible and medicinal of lily and to provide a theoretical basis for screening of natural antioxidant plants and breeding of functional lily.The results showed that:(1)This study used a combination of visits and line surveys to investigate wild lily resources in parts of Sichuan and collected a total of eight species of wild lilies,respectively Lilium.leucanthum,Lilium.regale,Lilium.duchartrei,Lilium.brownii,Lilium.sargentiae,Lilium.bakerianum,Lilium.davidii and Lilium.lancifoloum.The survey results showed that although the plant variety in Sichuan areas,and the original wild lily resources distribution is more,however,due to the interference of human activities,the lily resources have been seriously damaged,many endemic species of china have been hard to find its trace at the brink of extinction,and hope to carry on the effective utilization and protection of resources.(2)The contents of total phenolics,total flavonoids and total flavanols in seven kinds of lily(Lilium.brownii,Lilium.leucanthum,Lilium.regale,Lilium.lancifoloum,Lilium.sargentiae,Lilium.duchartrei,Lily HH)bulb extracts were determined,which ranging from 662.73 to 4133.66 mg gallic acid(GAE)mg/100 g dw(dry weight),60.85 to 1285.66 mg rutin(RE)/100 g dw,and 19.97 to 63.40 mg catechin(CE)/100 g dw,respectively.The content of polyphenols in Lilium.sargentiae was the highest,followed by Lilium.regale,Lilium.leucanthum,Lilium.brownii and Lilium.duchartrei was the lowest.(3)Two kinds of in vitro antioxidant indexes(DPPH free radical scavenging ability and Cu ion reduction ability)were used to evaluate the antioxidant activity of lily bulb extracts in vitro.The results showed that the Lilium.sargentiae had the strong antioxidant activity,followed by Lilium.regale,Lilium.leucanthum,Lilium.duchartrei had poor antioxidant activity.The correlation analysis showed that there was a significant positive correlation between the phenolic content and the antioxidant activity index.The cluster analysis showed that Lilium.Sargentiae,Lilium.regale and Lilium.leucanthum had higher phenolic content and stronger antioxidative activity and they were grouped together;Lilium.brownii,Lilium.duchartrei,HH Lily,and Lilium.lancifoloum belonged to another group has lower phenolic content and lower antioxidant activity.(4)A total of 87 flavonoids(28 types of flavones,19 types of phenylpropanoids,15 types of flavonoids,13 types of flavonols,8 types of flavonoids-C and 4 types of anthocyanins)were detected for the analysis of the differential metabolites of flavonoids in Lilium.brownii,Lilium.duchartrei and Lilium.regale.The content of flavonoids in different lily species varied,and further differences in metabolite screening revealed that there were 32 different metabolites in the Lilium.brownii and Lilium.duchartrei including 8 types of flavonols,9 types of flavonoids,9 types of flavones,3 types of Phenylpropanoids,2 types of flavonoids-C,1 anthocyanin;there were 41 kinds of differential metabolites in Lilium.brownii and Lilium.regale,including 17 types of flavones,9 types of flavonols,5 types of phenylpropanoids,4 types of flavonoids,3 types of anthocyanins,3 types of flavonoids-C;there are 33 kinds of differential metabolites in Lilium.duchartrei and Lilium.regale,including 12 types of flavones,8 types of flavonols,6 types of phenylpropanoids,4 types of flavonoids-C,2 types of anthocyanins,and 1 types of flavonoids.Therefore,lily bulbs can be used as a source of natural plant antioxidants for medical and functional health foods.
