Corn is the dominant crop in Northeast China,one of the main grain production areas.Nitrogen fertilizer,which is one of the main fertilizers for crops to achieve high yield,is overused.At the same time,it causes a series of eco-environmental problems such as air pollution and water pollution,so the most direct and effective way to solve this problem is to reduce the use of chemical fertilizer and improve the utilization of nitrogen.The use of nitrification inhibitors has shown effect and good application prospect for solving the problems caused by overuse of nitrogen fertilizer,especially urea and urea fertilizer.Plenty of experiments show that compared with the traditional fertilizers,fertilizer with nitrification inhibitor has played a positive role in the transformation of urea nitrogen,volatilization of ammonia,nitrification and denitrification in soil,crop yield and eco-environmental benefits,etcetera.In 2013,DOW applied microencapsulation technology to 2-Chloro-6-trichloromethyl pyridine,and a new dosage form of microcapsule suspension with nitrification inhibitor was produced.This nitrification inhibitor can release nitro-pyridine more slowly,which can last 80-120 days,so the effect of the nitrification inhibitor can be maximized.In this study,the effects of this microcapsule nitrification inhibitor on the growth and yield of corn were discussed through the analysis of field survey and field extension test in Northeast China.The results provide a theoretical basis for the promotion and application of microcapsule nitrification inhibitor on corn in Northeast China.The main results are as follows:(1)Dealers,big grain production household,agricultural cooperatives and farmers in the study region generally do not know enough about inhibitors.Because there are so many kinds of nitrification inhibitors and farmers lack the ability to recognize them,they are resentful to the new application form of microcapsule nitrification inhibitor.The results of the investigation show that 79.5% of the farmers choose one-time fertilization,20.5% of the farmers choose to topdressing in the middle of the crop growth,over 71% of the farmers use more than 1,000 kg/ha of chemical fertilizers,and only 5.3% of the people in the investigation have used nitro inhibitors.(2)The microcapsule nitrification inhibitor has positive effects on the root,plant,stem diameter,leaf width and chlorophyll value during corn flare opening period and silking and flowering period.The different treatments of the microcapsule nitrification inhibitor can improve the plant height,stem diameter,leaf width,chlorophyll value,root length and aerial root number in flare opening period and silking and flowering period in different degrees in the three regions.As the amount of dosage increase,each indicator also shows an increasing trend.(3)The microcapsule nitrification inhibitor can obviously affect the corn yield in the three regions.In the three regions,different treatments can improve the corn spike length,spike diameter,spike row number,grains per row and 100 grain weigh with the increase of dosage,each index shows an increasing trend.In the three regions,different treatments can reduce the length of corn baldness and with the amount of dosage increase,the bald head shows a decreasing trend.(4)The microcapsule nitrification inhibitor can increase corn yield and improve efficiency in the three regions.The effect of different dosage of nitrification inhibitor on corn yield is different.When the yield range is 745.6kg/mu ~845.1kg/mu,the growth rate of output is between 3.07% and 11.83%.The best input-out ration is at treatment 3,reaches1283%,which is the most profitable.(5)The microcapsule nitrification inhibitor can significantly improve the utilization rate of nitrogen fertilizer in the three regions.As the dosage increases,the utilization rate of nitrogen fertilizer shows an increase trend.The increased percentage ranges of nitrogen fertilizer utilization by using this microcapsule nitrification inhibitor are 11.05%~32.85%?8.69%~30.00% and 7.91%~30.47%.
