In recent years,with the tightening control to ginseng plantation under Chinese government,the ginseng growing area has been decreasing year by year,and the annual output of it has also dropped.The growth of ginseng is greatly influenced by environmental factors.In the daily management,most of the growth of ginseng is based on people's personal experience.Therefore,there may exist some deviations in the real-time parameter estimation of ginseng growth,and there is a certain lag in the early warning of disease.How to accurately monitor the environmental parameters of ginseng and scientifically alert ginseng disease has become an important research object.With the rapid development of the current Internet of Things,it is possible to realize crop growth environmenta information monitoring through the technology of ZigBee wireless communication.The research of this paper mainly carries out environmental parameter monitoring and image observation on the growing environment of ginseng to achieve the goal of intelligent and high efficiency of ginseng planting that relies on sensor technology,wireless sensor network technology,image acquisition technology,etc.The monitoring system uses soil temperature sensors,soil moisture sensors,air temperature and humidity sensors,and light intensity sensors to monitor and collect environmental parameters in real time,intelligently monitor the growth environment of ginseng,and upload the collected data to the Internet server.It is finally transmitted to the mobile phone and the PC to facilitate the administrator to monitor the growth status remotely.A digital camera is used for image acquisition and directional transmission technology,and the collected image information is uploaded in real time through 4G network in aspect of image acquisition.In the aspect of acquisition and transmission system,a transmission system based on ZigBee network-based wireless communication technology is designed.Each ZigBee node can transmit data to each other,which solves the problem of data transmission between cables and the difficulty of wiring.Since ginseng grows in a mountainous area with a high altitude,the power supply for various monitoring equipment must be adapted to local special circumstances.This paper proposes to use solar energy for power supply and a large capacity battery to ensure the stability of the power supply system even on cloudy days.The ginseng can collect real-time information such as water,air temperature and humidity,soil temperature,soil moisture,light intensity,and leaf growth status in the ginseng growth environment through the mobile phone and the PC.It can make appropriate solutions in time,when the ginseng has been grown.
