In our country most of the livestock and poultry breeding farms closed at present. China is now a world leader in production. The production of livestock and the quality of poultry product is influenced by the environment more. Effective monitoring of corral can improve the environment of corral, excellent environment of corral can improve the output of livestock and the quality of poultry product then achieve more economic benefits. The traditional monitoring system of livestock and poultry generally adopts the wired way. The disadvantage of this method is cumbersome wiring, high cost, difficult maintenance, low measuring accuracy. The emergence and development of wireless sensor networks provides a new direction for monitoring of animal building and make the industrialization, automation of livestock and poultry possible. According to the actual situation of MingRui farms in Changchun City, We research and design a monitoring system of livestock and poultry environment based on ZigBee technology.There are many factors impact of animal growth, development, reproduction, growth and animal health products(eggs, milk, meat, wool), but the internal environment of animal house has obvious effect on it. The quality of the growth environment directly determines the quality of animal growth, but also directly related to the economic benefits, so improve the poultry house environment become more important. We determined the monitoring of environmental factors and the wireless communication solution based on analysis of the current situation of the development of livestock and poultry monitoring and wireless sensor network at home and abroad and combined with the actual situation of domestic livestock and poultry surveillance. Then proposed a monitoring system of livestock and poultry house environmental who,s core is DSU1115-0601 module based on Zig Bee technology.According to that require monitoring, developed ZigBee network node who,s core is DSU1115-0601 module, and the node can drive a variety of sensors. Sensor nodes can collect the real-time data of each environment factor within animal building, and then deliver the data to the routing node. The routing node will deliver the data to the network coordinator, and the will transfer the data to the monitoring center host computer through the serial port. The monitoring center of PC is a friendly interactive interface that can display real-time upload data and can display in the form of a curve and histogram and intuitive, and it also has a history of queries and print output function. When the data environmental factors is not within the reasonable range, the monitoring center will issue a warning signal, then the PC will regulate environmental of the corral through controlling the device of execution, and make environment of the poultry house in a relatively stable state for livestock and poultry production.
