Study On The Artificial Feeding Of Dendroctonus Armandi

Dendroctonus armandi Tsai et Li is the main pioneer insect pest in the Bashan forest district of Qinling Mountains,China.They reproduce quickly and are very harmful.Generally,Dendroctonus armandi lives in mountains of Pinus armandi forest and they are small in size.In the life cycle,they eggs,larvae and pupae live in the phloem and xylem of the infected Pinus armandi,and the adult having a short flying period and difficult to catch.These greatly restricted the research on Dendroctonus armandi.On the basis of existing research,this study aims to reveal the defferences of nutrients in Pinus armandi phloem under different condition,explore the feed formula for Dendroctonus armandi,analyze the effects of Pinus armandi phloem under different condition and sterilization of feed after measuring the main nutrients in Pinus armandi phloem under different condition and exploring the artificial feeding to Dendroctonus armandi.Then solve the problem of obtaining there search materials when studying Dendroctonus armandi.The research results are shown as fo llowing:1.Comparing the contents of protein,crude fibre,crude fat,starch and soluble sugar in the Pinus armandi phloem under three conditions,the results showed that the contents of protein,crude fibre,crude fat,starch and soluble sugar in healthy tree,infecting tree and withered tree are: healthy tree > infecting tree > withered tree.2.The results of artificial feeding Dendroctonus armandi larvae: The effect of feeding Dendroctonus armandi larvae on different feed formulas is different,semi-pure artificial feed formula > pure artificial feed formula > the feeds of bark.F feed formula has the best feedi ng effect on larvae among the semi-pure artificial feed formulas;B feed formula has the best feeding effect on larvae among the pure artificial feed formulas;healthy tree bark of Pinus armandi has the best feeding effect on larvae among the feeds of bark.3.The results of artificial feeding Dendroctonus armandi adults:The effect of feeding Dendroctonus armandi adults on different feed formulas is different,semi-pure artificial feed formula > pure artificial feed formula > the feeds of bark.E feed formula has the best feeding effect on adults among the semi-pure artificial feed formulas;B feed formula has the best feeding effect on adults among the pure artificial feed formulas;healthy tree bark of Pinus armandi has the best feeding effect on adults among the feeds of bark.4.The feeding effect of the unsterilized feed is better than that of the sterilized feed in the feeding of larva and adult of Dendroctonus armandi.
