The farming system refers to all the technical measures adopted in agricultural production in order to attain sustained high yield,including the planting system,soil tillage system and field management system.Tillage mode embodies the main contents and methods of farming system and is closely related to the basic conditions of agricultural production in different regions.If a farming model is reasonable,it is necessary to meet the requirements of regional agronomy,and it is constantly improved and improved with the continuous development of agronomic technology and the popularization and application of agricultural science and technology.Central areas of Jilin Province,including the Changchun region,Siping region,Jilin region and Liaoyuan region,is the major grain production area and an important production base of grain commodities.Jilin Province has the black soil that is rare in the world and the total area is about 1.1 million square meters,which account for 1/5 of the black soil of the country,and the cultivated area is 0.832 million square meters.According to the data,the total grain production of Jilin Province reached 70.656 billion kilograms in 2014,ranking fourth in the country.However,in contrast to the high yield of grain,the content of organic matters in the black soil dropped from the previous data 4-8% to 2-3% now.Hundreds of years of reclamation,especially turn-plow plowing and stubble rotavator plowing recent 60 years,resulted in the degradation of the ridge-soil fertility,thinning of black soil layer,water storage capacity,worsened soil erosion,made sandstorm frequent and increased environmental pollution.Overall,it indicates that the mechanized conservation tillage technology system must be enforced in the dry land of Jilin Province to reform the traditional ploughing methods and accelerate the research and application of the mechanized conservation tillage technology system,which is the crucial measure to achieve the sustainable agricultural development and protect the agricultural ecological environment of the central areas of Jilin Province.According to the research status at home and abroad can be confirmed to the successful promotion of conservation tillage technology,we must actively study and explore the cultivation mode of protection for Jilin province and central region,as the basis to determine the type and characteristics of agricultural power machinery and machinery structure principle and technical performance.In this paper,we compare and analyzed the characteristics of Tillage method,rotary tillage method and loose tillage method in Siping area.According to the data,we have analyzed soil physicochemical indexes,grain growth and yield of these methods and found out a mechanized conservation tillage technology model that is suitable for the characteristics of rain-fed agriculture in Jilin Province.Additionally,according to the advantageous conditions and existing problems in terms of technology,equipment,management,capital,land and personnel of mechanized conservation tillage in the central arid areas of Jilin Province,we have proposed targeted countermeasures and practical and effective popularization measures to accelerate the theoretical and practical support for the ploughing model of the rain-fed agroecological region in the central arid areas of Jilin Province.
